Daku's Pov

After a chunk of the town was destroyed by the Buggy Ball, we got off the roof and towards somewhere safer as fast as we could. "You okay, Zoro? How bad are you injured?" Luffy asked about his wound. I looked at his wound, seeing that it was still bleeding. Due to it not being treated immediately. "Just shut up and don't worry about how I'm doing! I need to concentrate if I wanna get us out of this." Zoro said, struggling enough as he was carrying the cage that held Luffy. "Hey Luffy, who's this? Who's the girl?" He asked Luffy. "Oh right, she's our new navigator." He replied. "I'm not so sure about that. Who are you four anyways?" Ms. Nami asked. "Move...you're in the way..." Zoro grunted, before he lifted the cage. "I guess even a lowly pirate can still recuse his friend." Nami said. "Some pirates aren't lowly, you know." I said, catching Ms. Nami's and my sister's attention. "Some of them can be good." I said, before walking towards Luffy and Sir Roronoa. "He's right, you know. Not all pirates are as low as you think and speak of them to be." I heard Lucillia say, before she caught up.

After a little while of walking, we stopped to let Zoro rest. I could tell that we were close to the middle of the town, but we decided to what looked like some sort of store. We then saw Sir Roronoa collapse to the ground, then look up. He was staring at something, but I wasn't sure what. I then looked up, and saw a small white dog, sitting in front of the store. "What's with this dog?" Zoro asked aloud. "Don't know, but it's probably someone's pet." Lucy spoke. "Doggy." Luffy said, before making the cage hop with him towards the dog. He then made a funny face at the dog, but it still stayed straight-faced. "Hey, guys, it looks like this dog is frozen." Luffy said. "I don't give a damn. It can sit there forever for all I care." Zoro said. "Besides the dog, your wound Sir Roronoa. You can't go on forever like that." I said. "I'll be fine." He replied. "You need medical attention. But since, most likely the entire town had cleared out, it'll take some luck to actually find someone with medical experience." I said. I then saw my sister go closer to the dog. "What the hell is this thing doing?" Lucillia said, staring at it. "Will you two try to focus on a more serious matter here?!" I shouted. "I wonder if it's dead." Luffy said, poking the dog forehead, until it bit him in the face. Sir Roronoa, Lucillia and I were shocked at the scene, not knowing how to react to this. "Luffy! Please quit goofing around and get serious!" Sir Roronoa shouted, before collapsing again. "I told you Sir Roronoa, you shouldn't push yourself too hard." I said, proving my answer right.

"Damn dog..." Luffy trailed off, mad at it. "I don't feel good." Sir Roronoa grunted. "You two are hopeless..." Lucillia and I trailed off. I then heard footsteps coming our way. We turned around, and to our surprise, it was Ms. Nami. "Oh, hi navigator." Luffy said. "I guess you guys can have this. You all did get me out of a stick situation." She said, tossing Luffy the key. "The key to the cage? Did you steal it for him." I asked. "Thanks, Nami!" Luffy exclaimed. "I only did it so that we would be even. Which reminds me, Lucy," she said, getting my sister's attention, "I think that this is yours." She said, handing her a blue ribbon. "Wow, I didn't even notice that it was gone." She said. "Yeah, you dropped it on the roof where we lit the Buggy Ball. I was just lucky enough to grab it in time." She said. "Thanks!" Lucillia exclaimed, tying the ribbon to her wrist. I then remembered where I saw the ribbon. I remember giving it to her for her 114th birthday. If I remembered correctly, somewhat questioning my photographic memory. I then turned my attention back to Luffy, unfortunately, it wasn't good. He was about to grab the key to the cage, until the dog snatched it, and swallowed it whole. He then started strangling the dog, obviously angry with it. "Hey, stop that! Stop picking on poor Shoo Shoo! Leave him alone!" We heard a man say. We then turned around, and were greeted with an old man with glasses.

"And who might you be, old man?" Sir Roronoa asked. "Old man? Why, I'm the mayor of this town! Who are you, and why are you hurting Shoo Shoo?!" He said. 'Well, at least we know the dogs name.' I thought. "My, my. That's quite the injury you have there." The mayor said, looking at Sir Roronoa's wound. "I take it that you had a run in with captain Buggy. We need to get you to a doctor." He said, proving my point. After a little bit of time passed, Sir Roronoa was resting, as we saw the mayor come back from a house. "So, how Zoro?" My sister asked. "I told him he should really see a doctor, but he insisted that he didn't need to, and just wanted to sleep it off." He said. "So, this dog's name is 'Shoo Shoo'?" Nami asked, petting Shoo Shoo's head. "I have to ask, why is he sitting there like that? Does he not want to move from that spot, or something?" I asked the mayor. "He's guarding the store." The mayor answered. "He's guarding it?" Nami asked. "Yes." The mayor said. "Oh, I get it. It's a pet food shop." I said, looking at the sign. "And the man who used to run this store, was a very close friend of mine." The mayor said, before giving Shoo Shoo some dog food. I realized, using the vocabulary in his sentence, that the man had passed away, or something like that.
