The War

Bombs. It's all I heard . Ringing through my hears . I wish I could know what it all was but all I knew was that something had gone wrong. Something had been done. Something that's all my fault. I wish I hadn't done It ,I wish that I had listened. But here I am in the shelter. That shouldn't have been built. Why , why me , why does this only happen to me.

Then a shout , A command, they called my name ,"Alex get up your on watch duty ." No I said in my head I knew I would have to. I would do it if there wasn't a war going on right under me. A war that shouldn't have started. A war caused bye a stupid 18 year old boy. Well look we're I am cause I tried to be like my friends. ," Bombs."Shouted a guard . I think I would've step down . But if I did I wouldn't be able to tell them what I've done. What I caused. What I shouldn't have done.

All I could think about was the past what I had done. What I shouldn't have done. So there I was on a lazy Sunday morning. Nothing to do , nothing to laugh about. Eventually Mom called me . She called me every morning to wake me up and it always worked. This morning though was different . I was up earlier than anybody else. I always wondered what it was like to be a early bird. It was strange . Nothing was loud a noisy like cars trains and crows. They all were asleep and I felt like I should be asleep too. But I had to stay awake. I was waiting for a call from Brandon. He always I liked to prank people. So every morning he called on my moms phone and woke me up like at 5 in the morning. Not today I am going to call him back and play the ultimate prank.

I thought long and hard on what I was going to do . Ring ring . The phone started to ring. Picked it up with a guess I was thought it was Brandon but No. I had made the stupidest mistake because I had that today was when the governor went to every house to check how people are doing with the new plumbing situation. So I called and started to talk like a Swedish person. I said ,"Hey is this the General. If so the Bombs are ready and I need your ok on to fire them. The automaticity hung up. Oh no I said in my head. Brandon wouldn't do that. mom wouldn't do that. There only one person in this town that doesn't take jokes seriously. The governor.
