Chapter 8.

Walking in to the office today i felt happy but so weird.

What if they would see something was different between Michael and i?

“Hello Christina, how are you?” I greeted my assistant smiling.

“Im fine, you know. How about you? You seem happy?” She eyed me curious.

“Well that’s because I am honey!” I cheered, she was like my best friend.

“OMG! You met someone?” She yelled  in my face.

I nodded in confirmation, “Who is it? Is he hot? Where did you meet him?”

She shouted all kinds of questions at me but I just shrugged and walked to my desk, “You’re mean! I always tell you everything!”

I laughed at her and got to work, being the owner of a record label wasn’t only partying and meeting celebrities it also was administration and boring meetings.

When it was time for my lunch break I walked out of my office and to Christina, “Want to grab some lunch?”

“Yes I am starving. You know I am still mad at you for this morning but its okay, I will figure out who it is.”

I laughed at that, I really hope she doesn’t…it would be so complicated then.

Suddenly she whispered, “Don’t look but that hottie Mika is behind you.”

She knew about mine and Michael relationship, well before the whole kissing thing, and knew I hated him.

I turned around and said, “What are you doing here?”

He looked shocked and hurt, “Uhmm..well…uhm I thought we could get lunch together?”

I smiled the biggest smile ever at that, forgetting Christina is still behind me, “I would love too”, I said while walking towards him.

He wrapped his hands around my waist and sighed in relief and leaned in to kiss me.

I kissed him back, god I missed him so much, and suddenly heard a gasp, looking behind me I saw Christina with her mouth wide open and shock written over her face.

“You’re together with him?” The way she said ‘him’ made me winch.

“Yes.” I said to her in a matter of fact tone.

She was so confused right now, “But you hate him! He hurt you, remember?”

Actually I didn’t want to remember those times, “I never hated him! Yes he did but I forgave him and now I’m happier then I have ever been.”
