Part 2 - Contract

Its already been 5 days since the Hospital incident and my uncle and his “Girlfriend” did not visited me again. I knew he really despise me for some reason and maybe he is just waiting on the house right now. The Doctor also told me that I can be discharged right now since I only got some scratch and a little bit on the street accident I’ve gotten to. I decided to return home today.

In my 5 days confinement in the Hospital, I mustered my strength back and also grew a little bit of muscle. I hate to say it if its ok to stay in the hospital, I would be glad to but; they might start to charge me if I overstayed for awhile.

The Doctor was surprised that I don’t have any money to return home and he is worried I might also get caught into accident again if I will be left out again to the street. I hate to say, I was so embarrassed receiving the money from him. Yes, I owe him my life but I should not take any advantage to the kindness of the doctor. I promised myself soon I might repay this man.

Hmmm… Its totally hot right now eeh? I guess I’ll do the laundry once I get home.

I muttered myself as I went out the doorsteps of the hospital. I never thought this place is so wide enough that even you might get lost when you are trying to find the exit. As I took  10-15 steps forward away the entrance, I decided to get a cab.

I grabbed the money the doctor gave me from my pocket and check if I can use this to ride a cab.

3,000 Php.

Wait SERIOUSLY?! He gave me this huge money for just a fare for me to return home?! Just who the heck is this Doctor anyways?

I was petrified for receiving this huge sum of money to that generous Doctor for a moment. My head is full of thoughts on why I openly received this money from him.

I recalled I received only 50 Php. And yet how come it turned to be 3,000?! I tried to check where did it come from but when I noticed a letter fell out to the money inside it. I read it for awhile and connected all the pieces why I received all of this money.

Yuya, I’m sorry I added a huge amount of money in your pocket right now. While you are asleep, I silently added that money to your pocket.

He did WHAT?!

This is for your own good also. You can use the money to buy decent clothes and also food for you for a few weeks.

This Doctor is writing weird letters, and if you look at it; its kinda embarrassing to read!

The reason why I wrote this one is to tell you a bad news which I kept on hiding it for you after the incident in the hospital.

I have weird feelings about this even I keep on reading the Letter of the Doctor. I entered the cab and said the address to the driver.

5 hours after the incident in the Hospital, Your uncle and her girlfriend was assassinated by 2 unknown gunmen. It was featured in the News that evening and the investigation says it was related to drugs.

I never knew that my uncle used drugs since I never seen him using one. He spends his time outside home and returns home at evening, sometimes drunk. He keeps on pestering me for some reason and also treated me as a piece of trash to him. I keep on reading the letter until I never noticed I’m already at our neighborhood.

I’m afraid you might be alone in your place since you and your uncle are the only person on that house. If its alright with you, I can recommend the a person who can let you stay at their place.
