Ryan
The doctors told me it was just the medicine. She would remember everything in time. It wouldn't take long. It pains me to see her suffer like this. Could I have done something to save her? They told me it would be best if I stay out of the room until she becomes fully conscious again. I agree without arguing. A few hours later, the nurse walks into the waiting room. She has thin red scratch marks on her arms from Ava. She motions for me to follow her. She leads me, once again, to Ava's room. Ava looks at me with fear in her eyes. It looks as though she may cry.
"What is your name?" She says, "I know you. I don't remember," she stutters. Tears fall down her cheeks.
"My name is Ryan," I say. She looks as me blankly. Then, I hear her gasp.
"R-Ryan!" She reaches out for me to hug her. I do.
"Don't worry, Ryan," the nurse says, "she will remember everything in time. When she passed out on the bathroom, she hit her head pretty hard on the tiles. She has a severe concussion and extreme blood loss. She is going to have to stay here for a few days to recover?" Ava nods while the nurse says this. I do too.
