At this moment, the Killer demanded,
"Ash, this will be the untold story's finale," I still weeping while Arbie, full of wrath either me or him. I saw it on her face. "Someone's life about to change."
Then he told us an instruction,
"I don't know where is the bullet inside the cylinder, maybe out of the trigger. Maybe exactly that kill to your bestfriend," Harsh telling me this damm directions about guns. "Bump the hammer, do and die."
I can't raise my hand with gun next to my bestfriend. I can't kill the person I loved, I can't.
"If you miss it, Arbie will kill you with her shotgun." He demanded. Beeches! That what makes me more panic. I'm bolted! I can't stand straight. I'm perspire. What am I gonna do!?
Arbie won't talk, won't react. She's fierce and rage. Holding a shotgun. Nothing can show her smile.
"No I can't." I retort. Keep telling this why I am crying, hopes are gone. He said while raising his gun pointed to me.
"Do now or else I will kill you both." Then I saw Arbie, going to hold the shotgun in its proper handling. Like fighting in battle. Arbie still looking at me while I am slowly. Trembling—can't handle the gun properly. I'm perspired, haze, nervous, vex and panic. What's next? How to escape this darkest hour? How?
"My bestfriend," I demand looking on her. "You need presence of mind. Wake up! Remember who's our real enemy!" Keep to tell this to Arbie!
The Killer asked in spree, "And who's the enemy?" Then he laugh at the worst. Focusing on us.
And in an instant,
In the darkest peak of the hour, a mysterious voice came at his back.
"It was you."
And when Arbie recognize a sort of reinforce, she point the shotgun on the Killer and I don't know what to do. What's going on at this critical stage, until I saw --.
The Officer Sardua came with his Double Eagle pistol, pointing at the Killer's head. He's on back of the Killer.
"What the meaning of this?" The Killer bothered asking.
"Right. Finally, the end of our lines," The Officer answer with grinning. I see a light of a hope, but we're not assure what may happen next.
Three guns against one man.
Then he's like a chess king, for I think he's checkmate. Still hoping that the tables will turn. Table turns! And I wish that it may happen. What will be happen at the end?
The Officer said, seriously looking at the Killer's back while pointing his gun next to the Killer's head. He said mildly,
"The battle between the deceiver and the righteous must be end like this. I long searching for you—Hermes Calix. Drop your guns and raise your hands."
Hermes Calix is his name?
The killer replied with provocation, "O, here comes a new challenger." He add, "Quincy Sardua, we had met again. How's life?"
The Killer did what the Officer said, he slowly drop his Magnum rifle that hangs on his shoulder. When the sniping rifle had been drop on the ground, he said laughing. Arbie keep pointing her gun, fierce every moment.
"Let's start another game." What? The Killer proclaim while all of our guns pointed to him. What did he say? Is there something going madly. I look upon Arbie, be careful. The deathblow!
Then the Killer turn as fast as coyote move and shot Officer Sardua on it's chest using the gun on his hand and down next to the floor. Holy cow. The Officer!
The savior's down. He was drop dead upon the floor. And we screamingly run to hide and the Killer shot me but the evasion saves me. Then we hide on the containers. The body of the Officer was at the ground lying, can't determine whether he was still alive or what.
"What a missed!?" He said out loud. Playing with game I never wanted to play.
"Arbie," I anoint. "Save yourself." I said while exhausted. Doing things how to stop the one unstoppable and dominating.
Then the wicked shout of the Killer asking us, "Where are you little lambs? Are you want to play hide and seek? Or . . . hide and kill?"
I hate this pucking rendezvous! What a small battlefield? He added, "The shepherd is down." And he keep giving spree around this place.
"You wanna fight?" He continue talking, "It's better to be a warrior in the garden. Than to be a gardener in a war."
He ain't meant a peace!
I saw him getting his sniper on the floor. I saw Arbie's face and she's getting wild. She doesn't even talk with me.
"Arbie, are you okay?" I asked nervously. Asking even I know the answer—No.
"Are we only going to hide? I'll show you how a drop-dead beautiful goddess fights along this infernal beast." Arbie tells me like a warrior. Motivating herself to fight, insisted with anger.
What are she talking about? What? I'd been troubled.
And in a snap, she fires her shotgun in one time but it missed. It's heavy but she like playing airsoft. After that, she hide again beside me.
"What the hell you do?" I asked wondering what her meaning in doing this. She really going to fight.
She speak angrily, "Damm! The Officer was killed. Save ourselves! Deserve your one and only shot! We must killed him or else we will be dead!" And with idiom, she added,
"We must jump onto the abbyss!"
What?!
Then I am all in afraid telling,
"I can't kill." I answer full of fear. Continue on my hesitations. This is all vanity!
"Damm Ashly! You're so coward. Be a man! We must kill or else we will be killed!" She continue to command and put orders upon her hand: Kill the Gunman.
The Killer said, "You we're going to fight me? Come on." He continue playing and hunting. And that is, the war between us initiates.
