(Ring Ring)
At the sound of the bell I scurried out of my Algebra class ready to head home after a long day of tests and new lessons. As I was heading to my locker I spotted the one and only person I hadn't seen all week after the little cafeteria dilemma we had.
"Excuse me." Is the only thing I managed to say without getting tongue tied hinting for him to move but to my surprise he didn't budge. He just stood there staring at my face, then up and down, then my face again. I felt myself squirm a little under his gaze but tried to keep my composure. "Umm... I'm kinda trying to get to my locker so can you move?" This time, instead of just staring at me he actually did something but not what i wanted him to do. Instead he leaned against my locker and gave me one of his signature looks.
"Why should I do what you say?"
I took a step forward with a sudden spark of confidence that lit inside me. "Look I have a lot of things to do. So I would appreciate it if you moved."
I had not noticed how close we were until I felt his warm minty breath on the side of my cheek as he leaned closer and closer to me until his head was positioned right beside my ear. My heart started to beat faster than humanly possible because of our proximity. " I would like to think you have time for me." he said in a deep masculine voice making my heart flip twice. "Sweet heart ." he added before pulling away.
I just stood there with my mouth agape still shocked that he had been that close to me. Millions of thoughts ran through my head. Why didn't you kiss him Autumn, you know you've always dreamt of it. Why does he even want to talk to me in the first place? Is this a silly game he's playing or did he really take the slightest interest in me. I was interrupted from my thoughts by the sound of his voice.
" I see I have some sort of affect on you ." He said giving me one of his heart dropping winks.
" I don't know what you're talking about." I tried in a lame attempt to contradict what I knew was totally true.
He puffed out a small laugh before speaking up again. " Nice try, but I know exactly how you feel about me."
" I'm pretty sure you don't. You've spoken to me what two times counting this little, I don't know , 'conversation' we're having AND you know how I feel about you. Please, be realistic, now move because I need to get my things before I leave." I half growled out feeling more irritated than before.
