This Didn't Happen

Nila

I look at the gates and see the guards looking down at us. I see the boys start to holler and waves their arms. I try and find my badge as they run down the stairs, meeting the jeep about halfway.

"Nila, what are you doing out there, and most of all in the jeep?" One of the guards asks

"Long story, but you need to let us in, we have some of the dinosaurs after us, we need to get back in. I need to find Owen again. I also need to get these two back to their aunt." I say

"Yes ma'am." They say, opening the gates

Zach drives through the gates, when we get to the parking area, Zach puts the keep into park and we climb out. Zach helps me out and we automatically hear Owen yell at us. I look over and sigh in relief as we hurry over to him and Claire.

"Thank god you are alright. When you guys didn't answer your phone, we started to worry." Claire says

"Sorry Claire, Zach must have lost his phone when we first ran into that thing." I say

"What about you?" Owen asks

"I probably lost it when we jumped into the water, avoiding the dinosaur." I say

"How did you guys get back?" Claire asks

"We found the old garage of Jurassic Park." I say

I hear Owen's phone start to go off. He pulls it out and answers it. After a minute, he looks at me. Once he hangs up and puts his phone away.

"Meet me at the raptors cage." He says 

"What, why?" I ask

"Who do you think?" He asks

"Hoskins..." I say

"Exactly, trying to take the girls." He says "Take the boys with the jeep and meet us there."

"Alright. Grey want to hop into the back, Zach your in the passenger seat." I say

"Yes ma'am." He says

I hop into the driver's seat and start it up again. I back out of the parking spot and follow Owen to towards the raptors cage. Once we reach the cage, I see Hoskins hooking up a few things to the raptors.

"What the hell do you think you are doing to our raptors?" I ask as I climb out

"Using them to fight against this new dinosaur." he says

"Without our permission?" Owen asks

"You weren't around for us to ask, even if we did ask, you both would have said no." He says

"You're right. Cause they don't need to fight." I say

I walk over to Delta as she just growls. I hold my hand out and she bumps her head against my hand. I hear Zach come up behind me and all four of the raptors start to growl.

"He is just a friend girls. You are fine." I say

"How did you get so close to them?" He asks

"They have to trust you in order for them to listen to you." I say "My brother taught me how to earn their trust when I first got here."  

"That's pretty neat." He says

I look over at him and smile. He smiles back and looks at the raptors.

"Do you want your jacket back?" I ask

"No, I'm fine." He says

"You sure?" I ask

"Positive." He says

"Alright you three, into the back of the truck." Claire says

"I need to go with Owen." I say

"No, you are going to stay here. I can't risk you getting hurt." Owen says

"I need to go with you and the raptors, I won't get hurt. You know the girls won't let me get hurt." I say

"I don't care, you are not coming with me." He says

"Fine." I say

I get the two boys and we get into the back of one of the emergency vehicles. I hear Claire get into the front, sighing as she turns on the tablet. I look through the window over her shoulder, watching the boys and see the raptors as they follow the scent of the E-Rex.
