"He's gonna ask you out!" Grace squealed as i walked over to the water fountain. Class was finally over, and i had been wondering what she was going to tell me. I had come up with anything ranging from she's a lesbian and likes me to she wanted to sell me drugs. I hadn't expected her to say anything along those lines though.

"Who?" I asked, totally confused.

"Who do you think Dumbo? Tyler obviously." She smiled and did a little happy dance. Why she was so excited.. i couldn't tell you. And who the heck calls someone dumbo? Was she saying that may ears are really big? Or i'm elephant-like? I mean- wait! She just said that Tyler was going to ask me out. Forget all that other crap Lacey, focus on the priority here!

"How do you know that?" I was extremely skeptical. I mean sure, we'd talked more in the past two days since... well, ever, but that didn't mean anything. Plus, it had only been two days. I know i'm awesome and all, but even for me it seems weird that i could spark his interest so fast.

"Sarah told me." She shrugged.

"How did Sarah know?" I asked, not having a clue as to who Sarah was. I wasn't convinced she was a reliable source.

"Rachel told her." She explained, rolling her eyes. Oh okay, well if Rachel said it...nope still not helping! Who the frick was Rachel? Wow, i needed to learn who people were.

"Right. So let's get to the end of this cycle of people and just tell me who Tyler told. Because honestly, if he didn't say anything, i don't want all of my hopes and dreams crushed." I said quickly. I was nervous right now, and for no reason. Best case scenario Tyler actually did want to ask me out. Worst case scenario I fell into a depression from false hope. Hopefully the worst case scenario didn't actually happen.

Grace sighed, probably annoyed that i wouldn't just take her word for it. "Okay, Tyler told Drew, his best friend, who then told his girlfriend, Rachel, who then told Sarah, who told me. And now i'm telling you." She grinned widely.

I widened my eyes when i realized that she was actually telling the truth. He was going to ask me out? Holy cow. Did i want that? Well, i'm not sure. Totally kidding, hell yes i wanted that! I had wanted that since i first saw him. How would i answer him though? How would he ask? What if he changed his mind. This could still be false information. As i began to over analyze the while situation, my breathing became quicker and shorter. Of course, a panic attack.

"You okay Lacey?" Grace asked, becoming concerned. I nodded, now clutching my stomach trying to get a full breath of air. Panic attacks, unfortunately, were way too common with me. If i thought about something too stressful or something that i was nervous about, i had trouble breathing. Usually i got it under control. Right now, however, i wasn't handling it too well, i was freaking out too much.

My breathing began to get wheezy and i was starting to get dizzy. Eventually, i had to lean against the lockers to make sure i didn't fall over because the room was staring to spin. I needed a full breath soon or else i would pass out, but for some reason my lungs refused to fully fill up.

"Lacey! What's happening?!" Grace yelled, beginning to freak out. I guess that it would be worrisome to see a girl hardly breathing and barely able to stand. I was positive that i was completely pale right now too. I was starting to scare myself. Usually my panic attacks weren't this bad.

I looked at Grace with wide eyes and shook my head frantically. "I- I- I- ca- can't b-b-br-breathe," I wheezed, trying not to waste all of my air. She looked around the hall, probably trying to find someone or something that could help. I in the other hand had sunk to the floor and was gasping for dear life. I put my hands to my head and tried to focus on breathing. It didn't work very well.
