Chapter 17

Stephen P.O.V.

Walking outside I try my best to listen to what Chris was talking about but my mind start to wonder off and start thinking about those texts messages I be getting and those late night phone calls. As first I didn't pay it no more but now whoever it is mean business. They gunning for me over something I did in the past and to be honest I don't remember me doing anybody wrong in the past I was always an quiet person and stay to myself even on the golden state warriors before I got exposed I never really talked to any of them beside Klay.  Walking I felt Chris grab my hand looking up I met his face.

Are you listening to me Steph?

Um...no not really

So I boring you?

No..it just that I thinking about other stuff Chris

I know Chris. Looking down at the ground I hate keeping secret from him but he also knew to overreact and the last thing I need is for Chris to draw attention to himself well he here. Feeling him let go of my head he bent down and form a snowball in his hand. Looking me straight in my eyes I rode my hand trying to shield my face before he throw but was to slow.

Hitting me straight in my face he let out one of his annoying laughs. Wiping some snow off my face I rolled my eyes at him and headed back towards the house. Hearing Chris foot steps behind me I turn around and slam him on the ground in the snow laughing at his shocked face. 

You wasn't expecting that was you?  Inching closer to his face I kiss him gently on the lips. Feeling his arm wrap around my waist moving down before squeezing my ass. Breaking away from the kiss before things that to heated I stood up. Grabbing Chris hand I help him also turning around to walk toward the house my phone in my pocket started going crazy with text messages. Fuck I mumble.

Quickly reaching into my pocket I put on silent and hope Chris didn't hear it which was a dumb thought cause of Chris heard it I had my phone turned all the way up like an dumb-ass.

Walking up beside me I quickly put my phone in my other pocket.

Who was that?

Who was what? I asked trying to sound completely lost.

Um..your phone is was going crazy..who was texting you?

O it was nobody. Picking up my speed I try to out-walk him to the house hoping it will change the topic of conservation. Getting on the top of the porch I was about turn the doorknob when Chris put his hand over mines. 

Stephen why won't you tell me who it is?  Letting go off the doorknob I back way slowly. 

Why can't you just mind your business Chris? This have nothing to do with you..so just leave it alone. Walking pass him I open the door and quickly made my way upstairs.

LATER ON

Chris P.O.V.

Getting out the shower I look over to see Stephen knock out on the bed. Sitting on the edge of the bed I was kinda of piss at him for taking me mines my business but it whatever cause he ain't getting any ass or dick for awhile. Going downstairs to get something to drink I jump as turn the corner and nearly bump into my mom. 

Chris I was just about to call you down here. I need you to take out the trash before you to bed. 

OK I reply. Giving me a kiss on the check she disappear to what I guessing was to bed. Going back upstairs I throw a pair of sweatpants  on and one of Stephen hoodie before returning downstairs to throw the trash out.

Walking outside I start humming to myself and start thinking lyrics to a new song I firgure with all this drama I can put my angry,stress, and sadness into a song. Getting to the trashcan at the end of the driveway I throw the bag in there. Making my way back to the house I felt like someone or something was watching me turning around it was nobody but me out here I told myself. Walking a little faster I heard footsteps behind stopping I turn around and was tackle to the ground. Struggling to get up I felt to punch to my face and an kick to my manhood. Laying on the ground I look up and saw my attacker wearing an mask and holding a basketball in the air.  I told Stephen I was taking everything from him was the last thing I heard before blacking out.
