Ring, ring. I heard my phone ring, so I picked it up. It said Chelsea and I knew it wasn't really her. It was kinda obvious when I saw her lying dead last night. But, I just answered, because of my curious trait.
"Hello?" the person said. "I haven't seen you anywhere in the house, Arabella! Where the heck are you?"
My eyes almost bulged out. The voice coming from the phone sounded exactly like Chelsea, so I wondered if I got mixed up or confused with something.
"Wait. Is this Chelsea Montgomery?" I asked.
"Duh! But is this Arabella Derrington?" she said.
"Okay, okay. So here's the thing. I'm in the hospital." I said.
"What the hell!!!" she screamed. "What are you doing there?!"
"I went to Jeanine's place, and she's a killer! She blocked the hallway and was attacking me! She had a big ass knife in her pocket! She's evil!" I exclaimed.
I shifted in the hospital, it was a bit complicated to get comfortable in these beds.
"Holy shit. I wasn't at Jeanine's!" she exclaimed, laughing.
"Oh gosh." I said confused. "Well anyway, please do stay away from that evil girl!"
"Well at least we know that now!" Chelsea said, gladly. "But anyway, feel better, girlfriend! I'll come visit you in a few."
She then hung up. Although I ought to put my phone down, I ended up not, I actually did put it down. But, I put it down under the pillow.
A few minutes later, I heard the sounds of footsteps. Then the door opened. I knew it would be a doctor or nurse! But then, it ended up being an unexpected person. Jeanine showed up. Now I was scared and wanted to be sucked up by a hidden hole inside the bed. But no, that didn't happen.
"Well, well, well. Look who's here." she said and flashed a smile. I watched her teeth dazzle in the bright white lights. "I'm just coming to visit." She talked so softly I could barely understand what she was saying.
"Jeanine! What the fuck are you doing here?!" I said, shutting my eyes closed tight.
She glared at me evilly and then dashed over like a cheetah. She licked her lips and then flashed another smile. Then she chuckled. I watched carefully. Jeanine carefully unplugged the wires that connected to the things that were helping me.
"Jeanine!" I exclaimed madly. "Please stop! Plug it!"
"Nope." Jeanine said and giggled.
Then she gazed around the room and found a box of pills. I couldn't clearly understand what the words on the box said, but a word looked like it said sleeping.
"Hey! This will help." she called over and gave it to me. "After you have it, drink some water."
I did a face palm. "Oh my god. You actually think I'll believe you?"
"It says it will make you have a better sleep!" she said.
Well, that did make sense. She wouldn't be lying. It did really have a word that said sleep.
"Only if, you plug the wire back in." I said, taking the pill slowly.
"Okay!" Jeanine said and smiled sweetly again. "But, I'll do it after you take it."
I nodded and threw the pill in my mouth. Then I took my glass of water and gulped it up to take away the bitter flavor.
