Chapter 1

My pulse quickened and I didn't know what to do. How does this even happen? I was almost completely certain that this was my bag. Whoever it belonged to, he had the same purple star sticker on the same side that I had put it on. That's too much of a coincidence.

I walked down the stairs with my bag in hand. "Mom, I sort of grabbed the wrong bag." My mom inspected the bag, "It's not yours? It has the same star on it."

I nodded, "I know. Which is even weirder."

"Well maybe you'll meet the love of your life because of this," she laughed, joking. I joined her in laughter and nodded, "Maybe."

"Well, you gotta head back to the airport to get that fixed. Do you want me to come with you?" She asked and I shook my head, "No, that's fine. I'll be back in no time."

I walked out to my car and made my way towards the airport. Why did he have to have the same sticker as me? I don't understand. It's just my luck. Just kidding, I don't believe in luck.

Once I arrived at the airport, I made my way inside and as I was nearing baggage claim which I think is where you go, I ran into somebody.

"Woah, I'm sorry," I apologized, looking up to see who I had just bumped into.

"No, I'm sorry," he replied and I stared at him. He was insanely attractive. He had a cute little smile and I don't even like brown eyes but I think I do now because of him.

"I'm just lost because I got someone's bag confused with mine," he explained and I looked at his bag. It was mine.

"Um, well I think that's my bag," I responded, and then I showed him his bag and his smile widened. "Why do you have the same purple star sticker that I do?" He asked and I began to laugh, "Thats exactly what I was wondering."

We traded bags and began to walk back outside.

"Well, I feel like I owe you something. Do you fancy a dinner?" He asked and that's when I realized he had the cutest British accent I had ever heard. How had I not noticed before?

"Sure, I'd like that," I replied with a sweet smile. I don't know what got into me. Normally I would've never accepted a request like that because I'm way too shy but I don't know, he made me feel comfortable for some reason. This was all just too weird for me. Too much confusion in one day.

"Well, would you like to trade numbers?" He asked and I nodded handing him my phone. The sudden surge of bravery that had overcome me, surprised me. I've always been so wrapped up in my own world that I never dated. My nerves have always gotten the best of me. It's ridiculous. It's also embarrassing that at 17 I've never had my first kiss. I knew I needed to loosen up but I never knew it would happen anytime soon. Especially not with a complete stranger with a hot British accent. How did this all happen again? Oh yeah, when I grabbed the wrong bag because he had the same sticker as me. I know I've never believed in luck but... No. I still don't believe in luck. It's just a coincidence. Right? Right. I'm way too wrapped up in my thoughts because I feel the stranger tap me on my shoulder, trying to give me my phone back. Then I realized, I didn't know his name. I grabbed the phone from his hands and looked at it, he had saved his name as 'Sexy Stranger' and as I was about to ask him for his name, I realized he was gone.

What the heck?
