Betty and Veronica Fight Zombies

Part One

Betty Cooper and Veronica Lodge are in their rooms FaceTiming each other before they go to sleep.

Betty: Hey, so about tomorrow..."The Big Day". Are you ready?

Veronica: I am. I'm sure about this-about us. Don't worry about what people think. It's 2017 this shouldn't be that big of a deal. 

Veronica crawled in her bed and turned off the lights. 

Betty: It's not about what the people think, it's my parents. If its not about me dating girls they'll certainly be mad about me dating a Lodge.

Veronica: What's wrong with dating a Lodge? The Lodges are good people...except for my dad who's in prison and perhaps my mom who's involved with that biker gang. But I'm good. I can vouch for myself.

Betty laughed and suddenly all her worries washed away.

Veronica: What can go wrong? Whatever happens we'll still have each other. 

Betty: You're right.. And Veronica

Veronica: Yeah?

Betty: I-Thank you. Goodnight.

Betty turned off the phone before Veronica got a word out. She almost told Veronica that she loved her which she really did but she was afraid it was too soon to say it.

Betty charged her phone and slept.

The Next Morning

Hal Cooper was in the kitchen reading boiling himself a cup of coffee. The power went off over night and all the food in the fridge was spoiled. Alice went to the bakery to order her family breakfast for the morning. 

The front door opens and footsteps head towards the kitchen.

Hal: Hey honey, I made you a cup of coffee. You've been gone a bit, was the bakery busy?

The footsteps get closer.

Hal: Honey?

Hal turned around and saw his wife with dried blood stains all over her face and a chunk of her neck bitten off. She threw herself at Hal biting him in the neck.

Betty remained asleep while her undead parents roam around the house.

Meanwhile

Veronica woke up to the sound of sirens. She looked outside her bedroom window and saw carnage. People eating people on the sidewalk. She ran to her mom's room who was sound asleep. She shook her awake.

Veronica: Mom wake up! Somethings going on outside it's pretty bad.

Hermione: What is it?

Veronica: You're gonna have to see for yourself..

Hermione stood up and peaked outside the window.

Hermione: Holy... Shit..

Veronica: We have to get Betty and Archie and get out of time.

Hermione: Right.. Let's take 5 minutes to pack some clothes first and then we'll head out.

Veronica: Good plan.

Veronica ran back to her room and packed a few clothes in a small suit case. Five minutes later she met up with her mom by the door. They ran down to the lobby. As they were about to leave Smithers popped up behind the front desk with knights helmet on his head.

Smithers: Excuse me, ma'am. But going outside right now might not be the best plan.

Hermione: Neither is staying here and waiting to be eaten. Nice hat by the way.

Smithers: Unless you have any weapons stuffed in your suit cases, you're pretty much dead the second you walk out that door.

Veronica: You got any better ideas?

Smithers: I do.. Follow me.

Smithers led them to the underground garage. A zombie tackled Smithers from behind, knocking him to the floor. The zombie tries to bite Smithers.

Smithers: Ladies? A little help!!

Veronica and Hermione took off their heels and began to hit the zombie in the back with it. The zombie got off Smithers and turned it's attention towards the Lodge's. Smithers stood up and pulled out a blade from his jacket. He rushed towards the zombie and stabbed it in it's head.

Smithers: Let's go ladies.

He led them to his truck and opened the truck showing a large amount of guns and knives. The girls look over at him.

Smithers: I spend some of my spare time hunting. Keeps me in shape at my old age.

They got in his truck and drove towards Archie and Betty's house.
