The voicemails have been going on since chapter part 2 at lunch where Amber told Brenda her and nick should be together Grace: Nick: are you okay your talking like your nervous and hiding something Nick: I ain't hiding anything your the only one who gets to kiss me because your the only girl I want to kiss me and that is the truth remember that.
