NEXT DAY NATALIA'S POV

At school I made sure I avoided Tre at all costs. The guy who has tortured me for the past year, and we kissed. Remind me to bring a flashlight to the next party I go to. As I was walking down the hallway I heard Tristan's loud voice bellow my name down the hallway.

Tristan- Aye Natalia! AYO NAT-NAT!

Me- Boy what is your problem? Yelling my name down the hallway like you on crack or something! Louder than a bullhorn!

Tristan-(laughing) oh chill. Btw, I know what you did last night.

When those words came out of his mouth, my heart began to race and everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. My palms grew sweaty and began to feel like when your mom calls your name and you began thinking of all the stuff you've done wrong.

Me- (stammering) y-you did?

Tristan- yea, and you were good!!!!

Tf?

Me- what?

Tristan- I mean I knew you could dance, but I didn't know you danced that good. Is it true that you danced on some random guy?

I breathed with relief and began to smile.

Me- (smiles) ehhh a little but idek who it was

Tristan- hmm, maybe you'll find out.

Me- yea (forced laugh) hope so.

I looped my arm in Tristan's and we walked to class with all thoughts of tre out of my mind for just a little bit.

TRE'S POV

Natalia- um mrs. Jones, may I go to the restroom?

Mrs. Jones- yes Natalia you may leave.

As she was leaving I realized this would be the perfect time to talk to her because she's been avoiding me all day. I decided if I was going to get out of class I would have to improvise.

Me-(starts fake coughing/choking)

Mrs. Jones- Mr. Melvin are you alright?

Me- (whispers hoarsely) yea (cough) can I just go get some water?

Mrs.Jones- please do cause I ain't taking you to the hospital.

I got up and left the room and dropped the act immediately. Natalia's back was turned as she was obviously texting and not in the bathroom.

Me- um hey can we talk.

Natalia- (jumps and drops her phone) get away from me.

Me- come on Talia, you can't avoiding the subject forever!

Natalia- don't call me that and I will avoid it for as long as I can. ( begins to walk away)

Me- Natalia...... Natalia (grabs her by the arms and backs her into the lockers) dangit, Natalia!!!

Natalia- ...

Me- look, what happend last night was crazy and unexpected. Never in a million years would I have expected it to happen.... And I loved every single second of it.

Natalia-(gasps)

Me- I know I have hurt you and I surely don't deserve you.... But I want you.( kisses her)

Natalia(kisses back) .... Wait tre stop.... This isn't right... I can't do this, I'm sorry. ( wriggles out of try grasp and goes to class)

I put my head in my hands and sighed. Was I catching feelings, or nah?
