I clenched my teeth together, getting rather frustrated at the yelling and crashes from downstairs. My grip on the bed tightened, tears threatening to spill. This happens every day and night, my mom and dad fight. Constantly bickering over almost anything. I sighed and got up, only to fall back in hearing the words 'I'm leaving!'. I gave up trying to keep the tears in and let them flow.
The tears burned my cheeks. I looked out the window to see my best friend, and my crush, waving frantically. She, or Infinity, grinned seeing my face, then frowned as she saw me. My eyes were probably red, along with my cheeks. I only stood there, waiting for her to do something. In a few moments, she dashed to my porch, running in and up to my room. "Shade! What's wrong?!" she choked. I could only shake my head. Today was all wrong. They fought, she came in, probably at the wrong time. Tears prickled in my eyes again. She didn't understand, I loved the fox hybrid, but she'd never love me back. I hated my life. But reality is a bitch.
"Shade, I'm serious. What's wrong?" she said again, this time more sternly.
I bit my bottom lip so hard I thought it might bleed. The only way out of this situation is to tell the truth. I know Infinity, she won't stop until you tell her what's up. "M-my mom might l-leave...". My voice was a soft whisper. I couldn't bear to see my I mean... ((•^• She is mine)) Infinity hurt. Light flickered through my window. She was in tears, not sure what was going on. My ears flattened. Her eyes flashed anger as she dashed down the steps. I followed hesitantly. She ran down the steps, I swear she broke one. (( e.e stop breaking my steps Natty. )) "THERE WILL BE NO ONE LEAVING!" she screamed, not thinking. "Finny!" I cried. "Shhh!! My dad will hear you and hurt me!" My dad wasn't the nicest of people. (( D: Daddy I luv you! In real life!!))
She only stood there. Sighing she waltzed up the stairs. "Nice dance moves!" I called up the steps.
