News of the engagement didn't settle well with grandmother. She was beyond infuriated. She threw thing about, breaking things, she even threw the cat out the window. Don't worry the cat's fine. The boy was frighten by his grandmother's new persona. His mother didn't help much either, she threaten death on every one, including her own son.
Days passed, days filled with tension and dread. Mother was packing all her things up, the boy was confused, was he going with mother? 'No, i'm leaving first then my new husband and i will return for you'. With that she swept out of their old house and into her old car. That was the last time the boy ever saw his mother again.
'Don't worry, lad. Your mother was a good for nothing slut. Always flirting with the boys, always......' Grandmother stopped herself. 'Come on lets go inside and eat dinner'. The boy cooked some rice while his grandmother made bread. They set the table for two. But the boy wasn't hungry, he wanted mother back, the boy felt empty.
