It's been about 2 months so since the kidnapping a lot has happened

Claire's POV I was decorating the house while Elena and Damon took the twins to go eat and see Matt I was putting garland on the staircase and putting reefs on the doors and Windows, Stefan was decorating the tree I made Christmas cookies and put them on display and then made a gingerbread castle and put garland on top of the cabinets I put mistletoes above the door and doorways I put out Christmas candles and blankets then I turned on Christmas music finally we were finally done the doorbell rang I opened it only to find a HUGE box of presents for Lizzie and Josie from klaus I put them under the tree along with my presents for them I also got Stefan something and Damon,Elena,Caroline,Alaric,jo,Tyler and Matt i put on a Christmas Eve outfit which was black leggings,flats and a white tank top with a denim jacket and a red scarf I had my hair curled I had already started cooking for tomorrow's Christmas feast the front door swung open and he girls ran in "mommy" they yelled "hi girls" I said bending down to their fight as they hugged me they looked around and saw the pretty lights handing from the window a mixed up with the garland "it's so pretty" they said "you like it" I asked "yah" Lizzie said giggling "come on girls I made some cookies" I said they ran into the kitchen I gave them 2 cookies each and they got to decorate them and then ate then I gave them some milk and they drank it and started running around as Damon was trying to catch them I smiled elena and Caroline came over to me "your a good mom" Caroline said "thank you" I replied "are you excited for Christmas" Elena asked me and Caroline jumped up and down nodding like two 5 year olds who just got a puppy they've always wanted Elena laughed "mommy" the girls ran over to me and hid behind my legs as Stefan AND Damon ran up to us and grabbed the girls throwing them in the air as they giggled I smiled and took a picture this is my family we all ate dinner and sat in the living room watching the grinch,frosty the snowman,Santa Claus is coming to town and rude of the red nosed rain deer while drinking hot coco the girls had there sippy cups filled with coco and marshmallows they were snuggled up into my side I was leaning on Stefan and the girls were leaning on my everyone fell asleep Stefan woke them up while I quietly picked the girls up and took them upstairs and into their beds and put them down before kidding their heads and cracking the door Stefan helped me put their "Santa Claus" presents out which was
