Isabella's Pov:
Well, today I start my first day at my new school. I'm so scared porque I don't know how the children will react wit going to school with a Cuban girl. I want to find out so many things. How long is the school hours? Where do I eat lunch? Is pe an option? If their are any other foreign kids? Like legit I'm scared.Isabella does her hygiene n the gets dressed. She later goes downstairs to meet her parents so they can take her to school. Isabella's father as u know has left Cuba for a job opportunity here so they had to find a school to place Isabella in.Her parents drive a 2016 red mustang with black leather seats inside.
Isabella's Pov:
In the car n all I am hearing is daddy n mommy running they mouth bout make sure u make friends, don't be shy, talk to your teachers blah blah. Like come I don not need a speech. Anyways we pulled up to this big yellow green and white trim school. N I saw some kids who was wearing this blue uniform like wat mama bought for me. I walked into the prinicipal's office n her name was Mrs forbes. She seemed cool n she greeted me n told me tht her school has never had a person from Cuba to come to the school before and tht not many foreigners except Haitians go here( at this moment I knew I fucked up).Mama and papa left Isabella n wished her good luck. The prinicipal gave Isabella a schedule as to where her classes would be n which classes they were. Mrs Forbes then escorted her to homeroom class.
Isabella's Pov:
I walked the halls of anatol Rodgers afraid of these dark children I have never met before. Everyone was staring me down. Was it because I was the new girl? Or was it because I had on the wrong style of shoes? My teacher's name is Ms. Ferguson she seems cool.I lowkey just realized this is a public school(hopefully they do not steal my lunch money). Ms. Ferguson introduced me to the class I waved n then I went to sit down but as I walking a lot of boys stared me down. Many girls have me the stank look. I should have told them in Spanish ,'llevate tu pan horrible' in English we say carry ur stink bread. I took up the electives Spanish n commerce.
