"Was Friday night eventful or was it your usual bottle of chardonnay and Netflix night?" Norvina asked as we walked along the stalls of the morning market.

Norvina has been my closest friend for over two years now. It started when she first moved to the city, a country girl looking to become a model in the city. Where she soon stumbled into the boutique i worked at, spending the saving she brought with her for a professional dress for interviews. Her modeling dreams became a reality and she was now a top model, booking local shoots as well as international ones.

Not only did her job provide her with titles and a large paycheck. She had met a young business man through it as well, named Seungbo.

"Well, there was this guy," I trailed off as I smelled a bouquet of flowers at a booth, pulling back with a smile as I fished through my purse for cash.

"You did? Oh come on Dasom spill!" She begged, pulling on my free arm as I paid for the flowers with another.

"His name is Joon-Woo, we went out for coffee after work," I started before hesitating with the new couple words, "And he's kind of the Owner of Arirang TV,"

With that her jaw dropped, "You went out with Bullet?"

I raised an eyebrow as we continued to walk through the market, pulling down my sunglasses as we turned a corner.

"Bullet? What's that name for?"

"He's called Bullet because he shoots to kill so to say. He's the youngest owner of a major company in the city and well, he has a track record with women,"

Her words set me back, and yet again I was pondering what I felt with Joon-Woo. As if he could sense the doubts running through my head, my phone buzzed in my pocket.

I pulled it out and saw his name across my screen.

Dasom- Make sure to check behind the rose bushes when you arrive back

"Ooh what did he leave," Norvina said with a giddy smile, "I want to know,"

I tucked my phone back into my pocket, "We can see after we raid that food truck," I said with a laugh, and she nodded, looping her arm between mine.

As we ate we began our walk back to my apartment. With a mouth full of churro Norvina spoke, "Oh and can you go to a party with me tonight? it's for the new nightclub opening,"

With nothing better to do, I agreed to her proposition as we opened the front gate and walked up to the front door of my apartment.

Peering behind the rose bushes to see a black box wrapped up with a white bow. Retrieving the box, I followed Norvina in after she unlocked the door and put my flowers and purse on the counter before plopping besides her on the couch.

Her eyes going wide at the box, same as mine did when I saw the box.

After a couple moments of staring, debating on whether to open it other not, Norvina let out a groan, "Just open it already, I'm dying over here,"

I gave her a glare before untying the white silk bow from the box, setting it aside before pulling off the top of the black box.

White tissue paper covering the contents and a note sat on top. My fingers opening it up, pulling out a single card.

I know you could put this to good use, join me at a party tonight?
