Cops and Robbers

chapter 6

Cooper's POV

That note changed everything. We had to figure something out. I need to use my skills. "We need to get away. And fast." I say. "agreed" she replies with wide eyes. 

" My gang can help us!" I say. " NO!" she yells. "they can't know." I look at her. She is right. I can't even imagine what will happen. What will they say?

Bently's POV

" Okay, we need a plan to get Sly back." I say. I go to grab a large peice of graph paper. "We're out of graph paper" I say. Murry turns around. ". . ." "FIne i'll go to the store to get some." I reply to his silentness. We head out to the store. I am dressed as an old grandpa and Murry is dressed as a bisuiness man. 

We aproach the door.

Cooper's POV

" I need to go to the store Sly we are out of toilet paper." Carmalita says. "Okay, I'll come with you."I say back to her. I get dressed in my police uniform as a constible. We set out to the store. 

In Carmalita's car is a photo of us dancing at the ball a long time ago, hanging from the miror. I smile. We park the car behind the grocery store. It starts raining. "Who's goin' in?" She asks. "me." i smile. she grabs my head and we start kissing. A lot. It feels good.

Bently's POV

We walk around to the back side of the store because that is where the paper is. "Who is that in the car there?" Murry points out Carmalita. Uh-oh. " That is Carmalita Fox!"I shout. And then i realize that she probably heard me.

Cooper's POV

We hear the shout. " Was that Bently?"I ask. Camalita whoops around. There stands Bently and Murry.stunned and not moving. I quickly duck down underneath the dashboard.

Bently's POV

We see her look at us and we turn and run. We run around the corner to the front of the store. "whoever was in the car with her, we should probably give them some privasy." I say. We chuckle. " that was close'' Murry says. 

We walk into the front of the store and then all the way to the back to find a large roll of blue graph paper. We pick it up. 

Cooper's POV

We look at eachother. We imidiatly start to kiss again. Carmalita unbuttens my shirt and takes out her hair. "Maybe i should go get the toilet paper now."I say "fine." She says in a long soft way while smiling up at me.  I walk in and almost start climbing the rain pipe but then realize that I am Constible Cooper and i can't remember my past. I start walking to the right side of the store and then see bently and Murry coming towards me to the casheer. They don't see me so i slip away to the bathroom section.

I look down at the floor. my shirt is still un buttened.... I quickly button it back up and look around to see if anyone noticed. Nobody. This place is deserted. I grab the toilet paper 24 pack. I wait until Bently and Murry leave. I walk up and buy it. 

It is still quite bright outside. I go to the car. Carmalita is ready to go.
