"Hey guys," I grinned while walking up to my locker where my friends were.
"Hey Tee!" Sammy shouted.
"Will you stop screaming? You're hurting my ears," Aaron complained.
Sammy and Aaron had been my bestfriends since I could remember. Sammy was an energetic, all out girly-girl, whereas Aaron was more of a quiet, laid out tomboy; complete opposites. I was pretty outgoing, and wasn't really a girly-girl nor a tomboy. Our friendship only worked because we fit together like a puzzle. You pick us apart, and all you'll have is a bunch of lost pieces and an unsolved puzzle.
I laughed and started spinning in my combination, "So what's up guys?"
Sammy looked up and then down at me, "The ceiling," She said cheekily and giggled. She was one of those type of girls, who giggled at practically everything. Sometimes it got annoying, but I just think that Aaron and I had put up with it for so long, that it really didn't phase us anymore.
I playfully punched her, "Nice to know," I said sarcastically.
"Ouch!" She started rubbing her shoulder, "You know, playful punched are not supposed to hurt."
"Grow up before I punch you seriously, and not jokingly," Aaron said acting serious. Aaron had a don't mess with me aura, when in real life she's actually a sweetheart, but if you were to get on her bad side; Lets just say it wouldn't be pretty.
I grabbed my books that I needed for Biology, "I'm ready lets go!" Sammy looped her arms through mine and Aaron's.
"Sammy stop walking so fast, I'm gonna trip!" Aaron shouted.
"Geez, somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning." Sammy muttered as she slowed her pace. I laughed as we reached the door to Mr. O'Connor's Biology room.
"Nice to see you guys finally joined us," Mr. O'Connor grunted, as he pushed his glasses upright on his nose. I'm gonna be honest on this one, Mr. O'Connor is just a plain asshole. I think his mid-life crisis was losing his hair, since the big shiny spot on his head gave it away.
"Nice to see you too," Aaron said under her breathe, I snorted which earned a menacing glare from him.
"Is something funny Ms. James?"
"Nope!" I smiled as I walked to my seat in the back of the room, I heard some snickers go around from some of the students.
The girls sat beside me and sat their bags down, "So theres a party at Drew Riley's house tonight," Sammy said with a smile, you could practically feel the excitement burning off of her.
"Oh thats cool," I said in a bored tone while grabbing my notebook from my bag, and a pen.
Aaron looked a me with hope, "Sooooo?"
"Soooo? Are you trying to imply something?" I asked turning to look at her. I kind of wanted to avoid the question since I didn't have the answer that they were looking for.
Sammy grabbed my arm and pulled me to look at her, "What she's trying to say are you in or not?" My mind immediately went to Jake, I can't leave him alone with her and Jenny my neighbor isn't going to be back from vacation tomorrow. I bit my nails in the process of think for a possible excuse.
"Well-" I dragged out the 'l', "I promised Jake a movie night, and I've blown him off a couple of times so I can't go. Wouldn't want to crush a 6 year old's dream right?" I laughed nervously hoping that they would just drop it.
"Come on Teegan!" They both whined. They never showed this much interest in me going to a party with them before. Something must be up.
"Cut to the chase guys, what's the deal?" I crossed my arms, and looked at them both.
