Chapter 1 : Its officially a secret now

Great. The first day of school. Hopefully I last through the whole day and I don't blurt out the actual reason why I moved here. I get out of bed and turn off my alarm. I went up to my mirror and put on a huge smile.

"Hi my name is Lydia, I moved here because my mum got a promotion here. I lived in Denver and I do miss it but I heard LA is amazing." That should work, hopefully everyone believes it.

I can already here my dad screaming on the phone and its only 6 in the morning. He always has these business calls from his clients that are always complaining about everything, its very annoying but you get used to them.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Lydia Marshall and I'm 15. I have an older sister Penny, and a little brother Elijah. I am a very awkward and sarcastic person.

I enter the kitchen and all I could smell were fresh cinnamon buns, they're my favourite especially my mums homemade ones.

"Thanks for the ride Pen" "No problem, when should I come pick you up?"                                                  "Its fine, you don't have to pick me up, I will hopefully find someone to give me a ride"                                                     "Are you sure, I don't mind picking you up"                                                           "Yeah, it's fine"
"Are you sure, I don't mind picking you up" 
"Yeah, if I don't find a ride ill probably just walk"
"Bye Lyds"

As I stepped out the car all I could see was a massive sign saying 'Marymount High School'. The day I had been dreading for so long, First day coming to a new school.
