Chapter 7 Mission Save Creek

Branch's POV

I fell back when (y/n) pushed me and I kinda felt.... Hurt.  I saw everyone still staring at me with a shocked and surprised look. I growled and cleared my throat. "Where's Creek?" Poppy said with a fan-girl glint in his eyes. I sighed "you saw him getting eaten. Poppy how can you still have hope?" I saw (y/n) go sit down on the window seal. I felt my heart tearing at the sight of her. I saw her hair dark grey for a few seconds before it went back. What's happening? Suddenly the troll Brigitte woke up and saw us all scattered around. She started to panic and try to catch us all but we ran. But (y/n) didn't move an inch, instead she just crossed her arms a brow raised unimpressed.

-time skip because I don't remember this process-

All of us stood in Brigitte's hair giving it that glorious shine with ours but since I have no color I stood out of that crap. But I noticed (y/n)'s hair was turning a slight grey and she was sweaty. What is going on inside her head? (First person to get the reference gets a book in their name of water they want)

(Y/n)'s pov

The words of Branch just kept echoing in and out of my head making me sick. I realized my false colors are fading and I tried to think of happy thought but stretching my hair like this and thinking of something to cover up another thing isn't as easy as it sounds. So I thought it out. I would sit down claiming I don't feel good then sit in the back and do what creek does. "H-hey Poppy? I don't feel so good..." I held my stomach to look believable, Poppy gave me a gentle smile and nodded allowing me to go sit down. So of course I did so and started humming lightly my false color draining then restoring itself.

My pov

And little did she know, Branch was watching her every move with wide eyes. But I screamed at the book "DAMN BRANCH JUST FUCKING HUG HER ALREADY!!!" But it was pointless it would not come true.....yet
