Zombies were everywhere. She was surrounded.

What do I do?

She looked around helplessly as they inched closer and closer to her.

She saw a small sliver of light and quickly ran over to it, ecstatic because it was a way out.

She pulled herself through, agonizingly slow, thinking why didn't I workout more as her arm muscles started to hurt.

She emerged from the other side, seeing the abandoned trains lining the tracks. Finding which ones that weren't filled with zombies would be the hard part. I'm not ready to die.

Her eyes burned as tears filled them, her mind racing with images of all her friends and the others being ripped apart and turning into those monsters in front of her. If she wasn't in such danger, she would fall to the ground and cry like a baby. I want my mom, she thought sadly, her tears now freely making trails down her face.

The loud snarls of the zombies brought her back to reality, and her eyes widened at what she saw. Hundreds, probably thousands, of zombies were coming in each direction, pouring out of every train in her sight. They weren't stopping. Her heart stopped and pounded so loudly in her chest she felt it would fall out. Maybe that would be for the better, if her heart fell out, she'd cease to exist and then she'd join her friends and her family. No. They would want her to survive. She needed to win this. She would win this. "Come and get me!" She screamed at the snarling zombies who just never stopped coming. "Try and catch me!"

And with that, she did the only thing she knew how. She ran.

Whoop whoop. Who do you think she is? BTW the girl mentioned here isn't the only survivor, she's just separated from the others. So she thinks they are all dead.

She'll be revealed towards the end of the story. :)
