L.A Dreams [A Grayson Dolan FanFic]

Chapter Three

Cass POV

          Once Carm and Ethan left, it was pretty awkward for a bit between Grayson and I. We just stood there in the middle of the hallway. 

Cass: Did you want to come over to my place? It might not be as fun as your place but I have Nintendo Wii and Mario Kart. 

Gray: Wii, and Mario Kart? Jeez you know the way to my heart.

We headed over to my apartment. I let us in and we headed straight for the couch.

Cass+Gray: I CALL BEING LUIGI!!

Gray: Hey he's my player! Ethan is always Mario and I'm always Luigi.

Cass: Well Carm is always Mario and I'm always Luigi. I'll rock, paper, scissors you for him...

           They played best 15 out of 20 for Luigi. Of course Grayson won so he was Luigi and Cass picked Yoshi. They played for what seemed like hours. Laughing, talking, and trash talking each others game.

Cass: WINNER!!!

Gray: I gotta admit, you're pretty good at this game.

Cass: Why thank you! They aren't back yet. Did you want to watch a movie or do you have to go?

Gray: No it's okay. I've got time.

          They put in a movie and sat on Cass L shaped couch. About 5 hours later, Cass woke up on the couch next to a sleeping and snoring Grayson. She looked at her phone and saw that it was 8am. She went and checked Carms room, but there was no Carm. She ran back into the living room to wake up Grayson.

Cass shaking Grayson: Grayson wake up!! I don't think Carm and Ethan made it back last night! She's not home.

         Grayson immediately woke up and jumped off the couch. He looked like he was in daze for a second.

Gray: okay let's check my apartment.

          They both went down the hall and went into the apartment. Grayson went and opened Ethans door. Just as quickly as he opened it, was just as quickly as he shut it and came back into the living room.

Cass: Well?

Gray: well, I can definitely say E-Tee-Wee-Tee and your best friend Carm completely hit it off, if you catch my drift. 

Cass: What are you talking about? I looked at Grayson completely confused.

          Grayson raised an eyebrow and looked at me. He told me, "think harder." Once he said that Cass knew exactly what he meant. She looked completely scarred. Grayson saw the look of fear on her face and started laughing.

Gray: I guess the walk didn't help Ethans food baby, so he needed some "extracurricular activities" if you get what I'm saying. He gave Cass a wink

Cass: You're gross. That's my best friend in there and your brother!

Grayson: Exactly, it's a natural thing. Guys have their needs and so do girls. You have to admit, on our hike they were flirting with each other and while we were filming yesterday he couldn't take his eyes off of her. Until he started puking, than he was just embarrassed.

       Grayson and I stood there again awkwardly until he asked if I wanted to go for breakfast with him. I agree and went back to my apartment to change. I felt this need to impress Grayson, which was to run my fingers through my curly hair and put my hair up into a half top knot. I than put the tiniest of makeup on to look wide awake, I decided on high waisted jean shorts, a white crop top and a black and grey thin kimono cardigan and white low top converse on my feet and my rose gold Michael Kors watch. I gave myself a quick once over in the ceiling to floor length mirror I have in my room. I heard a knock on my door, I answered it and it was Grayson. He wore dark wash skinny jeans, a white V Neck tshirt, and white converse.

Gray: Jeez Cass, you look amazing! Are you ready for the best breakfast date of your life?

        We walked out of my apartment and headed to his car. He opened the door for me and I climbed on into the truck. Grayson told me that we were going to a "hidden gem that Ethan and him found one day." We pulled up to a small diner and walked in. We got seated at a circle booth in the back corner of the diner. We ordered a coffee and looked over the menu. The waitress came back for us to order. Grayson ordered peanut butter chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon and I ordered chocolate pancakes and just a side of fruit.

       We sat there laughing and talking. I didn't realized that Grayson had scooched over closer to me. The waitress came back with our breakfast and just smiled at Grayson and I.

Waitress: Ahhh, I remember what it was like to be young and inlove. You guys make a lovely couple.

Cass: Oh, we aren—

        I was cut off before I could finish my sentence by Grayson.

Grayson: Why thank you! He put his one arm around my waist and grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers She's amazing!!

        He looked over and gave me a smile and tried to hold in his laugh because of how confused my face looked. I looked back up at the waitress with a smile and she smiled back and walked away. Once she walked away Grayson couldn't help but laugh. I smacked him across the arm.

Gray: HEY! Dating me can't be that bad that you want to hit me.

Cass: No it's probably not, but warn a girl next time.

       Grayson laughed and realized he still had his arm around me and that we were still holding hands. He let go of my hand and moved his arm away from my waist. He rubbed the back of his next and bit his lip.

Gray: Let's eat?
