A loud cry rand from the house, as the infant was held. Her name was Demi, Demi cyan Allásson. Her parents were shifters. People may have thought that shifters were rare and mysterious creatures but they lived among many creatures, humans and animals alike. Shifters were inelegant beings, multiple creatures in one body all at ease and never alone. Demi was unusual though, most shifters when born were comforted by their spirits and rarely cried, Demi was not like others even as a small infant, and as she got older she would soon come to realize this.
