The Great Tournament

Chapter 2. The Tournament Begins

It's twenty years since the tournament ended Demon haven't seen a magical creature in all that time and everything is different now from back then. Even though so much time has passed since the last battles he still remebers clearly how he's arm was ripped from his shoulder. He managed to get it bandaged up fast so that he didn't bleed out and even though he is immortal now he still haven't gotten his arm back so he made a new one himself. Demon had just gotten a strange letter which reminded him of the tournament because it was the same he was given when he finished it. Demon open the seal of the letter and took out the paper. At the top of the paper it says "For Demon the seventh champion of the great tournaments." Further down it says "The eleventh tournament is going to start soon." When Demon saw that he fell down from his chair in his office and his arm started hurting a lot. A moment after Demon's secretary stepped in through the door and asked if everything was alright and Demon just told her to leave him be for a little bit, she left immediately. Demon got back up on his chair while having a hand on his shoulder, as soon as he sad down he read the rest of the letter it said a few random things and at the very bottom of the letter, it said when and where they were supposed to meet and it was the same place as where Demon fought the final battle and lost his arm. Demon also noticed a little note at the bottom at it "you can't say no to this, if you don't show up we will just come and get you." He didn't really care about that though, he already knew that you can't say no to the gamemasters. As the day went on Demon thought about the letter it had said something strange on the letter,it had said "This tournament is gonna be a rather special tournament compared to the others." Demon didn't really get it was it just gonna be one big bloodbath instead of those smaller ones. A week went by and the time had come for the tournament. The day before Demon went by his company and said he might not be coming by the office for the next while. Demon grabbed a strange figure it looked like a fox and hold it high, then a portal opened. Demon walked through the portal and when he came out on the other side he saw what looked like a broken down arena, he hears a loud shout from the top of the arena. Demon recognized the voice instantly it was one of the game masters. After a moment she jump down from the top of the arena and landed right in front of Demon. She tackled Demon down on the ground as she hugs him. The girl looks like she is eighteen but she is actually over a hundred years old. A short moment after two guys came jumping down and grapes the girl. Demon says thanks and greats the two guys. The girl was the gamemaster of the fifth tournament so Demon don't really know much about her all he knows was her title and who her champion was. The two guys that grabbed her was the second and third gamemasters. The girl stepped closer to Demon again and puts her hand on his shoulder "I'm sorry that you lost your arm in the tournament." Demon looks down for a bit before saying "its fine, i have this one now." The girl smiles and then she gives a proper introduction of who she is. Her name is Allison her immortal embodiment is a giant fox. Demon and Allison stands and talks for a little while before someone else comes. Demon recognized him straight away it was Hugh The seventh gamemaster, no one really liked him because of the seventh tournament. It wasn't really the most fair one and didn't really follow all the rules, in the end duels Demon was pinned up against the other 5 people and was forced to kill them all because Hugh had told them they all could get out alive if they killed him even though it was a lie. Hugh also told them all how many Demon had beat which the gamemasters weren't allowed to. But Hugh wasn't the worst of the game masters the tenth did a lot more horrible things. When Hugh came close enough he told the other gamemasters that it was time to go back and that Demon had to go to the other champions. Normally you don't ever meet another champion but this time all ten is gathered together. Demon and the other champions waited for a little while before the elleven Game masters showed up. The first Game master introduced the tournament it's a team tournament normally it was a free for all. All the champions looked confused about it. As the Game master continued to explain about he also said that each of the game masters gets to pick a champion to lead there team, apart from the eleventh he will oversee it as the game master. When the first game master was done talking about the tournament he chose the champion that was gonna lead his team. He chose the sixth champion it was a girl who didn't look too old she had won when she was around ten or twelve. The second game masters chose the first champion who was a guy that looked rather strong. The third game master chose the fifth champion who was another guy which looked like a average person. The fourth game master took a little longer on choosing, he ended up taking the tenth champion, it was girl though she was rather mysterious, she had her face almost fully covered with a completely white hoodie. It was now Allison's turn to choose she pointed at Demon instantly and shouted "I chose Demon!" Most of the champions stared at Demon while some of the game masters laughed a little at Alison.  After that it was the sixth game master turn she started by looking over at Allison. She was looking a bit pissed because she wanted to pick Demon. After some time Hugh told her to hurry up. In the end she chose the ninth who was a girl. She seemed like a nice person and she looked like she was eighteen. Hugh picked the eight champion who was a guy he looked normal. The eighth game master picked the third who was a girl and the ninth game master took fourth who was a guy who looked similar to the first champion. The tenth got the second champion who looked normal. All of the champions went with their game master. Demon and Allison left after every one else. Demon and Allison walked around for a couple of hours then it was time for them to meet up at the arena again. When they arrived they parted ways for a bit Allison had to go to the other masters and Demon had to go get changed in to some clothes that the masters had decided for him. The clothes he had to wear was some loose jeans with a belt and a white shirt with a black and green hoodie over it. The hoodie was missing a sleeve, it was the right one just like the arm he had lost. the clothes was the same he was wearing throughout most of the tournament he was in. After he had changed they got called out to the arena where around a thousand people where standing the masters had just explained everything. All of the people looked up at the champions like if that they were something that they couldn't become. The masters explained the rest of the things about the teams after that the champions and the masters jumps down to the people standing next to their partner. The people was told to grab the device they have been given on it there was a number for what group you need to join. Demon was the leader of the fifth group because of Allison. The champions and their masters went to some big gates in the walls there was ten different ones with a glowing number above them Demon and Allison went through the one with the number five above it. When all the champions and game masters had walked in the eleventh said that everyone should go to their leaders. A girl ran to Demon after that and asked him "why do you have a metal arm?" Demon looked at her and said "The seventh Tournament." and keept walking. After not long Demon, Allison and the girl had reached the end of the hallway there was a giant metal door, it looked rather old. Demon grabbed his device from his  pocket it looked different then from when he was in the tournament and it didn't look like the ones everyone else had. The one he had was a champion drive, it could do a few more thing one of them was unlock the ancient metal door. Demon looked behind him there weren't as many as he thought there would be. He turned back around and reached out for the door with his drive in his hand. The giant ancient door open after a little moment and Demon walked through it first. There was a big open grassland with a big aircraft standing in the middle. Demon turned around and looked at everyone and shouted. "Are everyone ready to win this tournament!" While raising his metal arm up towards the beautiful sky. The mood changed from a little gloomy one to a rather excited one. Allison started walking over to Demon and with that everyone followed. The ship open up its door and everyone walked onboard. At the ship's helmet a guy with green hair was standing waiting to greet Demon and the rest. The green haired guy started with saying "Hallo everyone. I'm your pilot and my name is Lewis." Demon walks up to him "I heard you know where our headquarter will be." Lewis pointed at the floor and said " The Titan Hawk wil be the headquarters."
