It's been a year when he went away. Leaving my heart full of pain and broken into tiny pieces. It's a worst feeling when someone makes you feel special and suddenly leaves you hanging and act like he don't care at you at all.
I remember the day when I first met him. I was in my way to school that time when a cute guy walked towards me and asked. "Hey miss, do you know where's boogie is?
Who's boogie? I don't know him, I answered.
HAHAHAHAHA, Instead of answering me he burst out laughing.
Why are laughing jerk? Is there's something funny? Or you're just getting insane? I asked angrily.
Nothing, he answered and smiled.
This guy really has something. Then he patted my head like a puppy.
I was annoyed in our first meeting but as time went by, we became good friends and I'm very much comfortable with him.
His name was Miguel, at first I thought he's a boastful one but when the day I came to know him better I learned that he's a gentleman and protective.
One day, as I woke up early in the morning, I end up smiling thinking about him. He's sweet and enthusiastic. He never failed to make me smile and laugh. He's always there to comfort me in times of problems and pain. If ever I'm in the middle of hardships, he never gets tired of motivating me to stand and fight. He's a blessing for me. Meeting him is the best scene of my life. I can't help my mind thinking about him and my heart falling for him.
It was September 12, his birthday. His family prepared a party for him and they invited me to be one of their guests. When I drove to their house, I can feel my heart beating so fast. It just that it has something to tell to me but I couldn't think any reasons why is this so.
The party started. I sat on the table in front with our classmates and Miguel's cousin. I got a glass of blue lemonade and started to sip it. Few minutes later Miguel's mother started to speak.
"Good Evening Everyone. Im glad that you were here this evening for my son, Miguel birthday. I'm so thankful to our Almighty father that he gave Miguel in my life. And to those people who became part of my son's life thank you so much. Last day, Miguel shared a story on me about his friend and I felt that my son is very happy meeting this girl and became his best friend and he want to sing a song for this girl.
My eyes twinkled as he walked in the middle. I can feel butterflies on my tummy as our eyes met. Miguel is really handsome as ever.
