Chapter 2

I arrived at my mom's house, pulled up into the driveway and got out. I got to her front door and just walked in. Some of us don't knock in this family, especially me. I hate the knocking and waiting for the person to answer business so i just walk in, saves both of us time. I heard a little scream and knew it was Abel, Thomas can't communicate that well yet.

I walked into his room and saw him being tickled on his bed by Wendy. I coughed to let them know that someone was in the room and Abel shot out of bed and ran towards me. I picked him up and he gave me a huge hug. I kissed his forehead and stroked his hair "you okay buddy?, haven't seen you in a couple days, have you been a good boy for grandma?" I asked as he put his head on my shoulder.

"Yeah!grandma made pancakes yesterday! Do you know where my daddy is?" He asked me upset, "yeah baby, he's working but he'll be home tomorrow and he'll come straight here to see you and Thomas" I said as I­­ looked at Wendy for encouragement "yeah he'll be here in the morning baby, daddy's got a lot of work to do" she said agreeing with me.

I carried Abel on my hip and set him down on the bed and went to pick up Thomas. Thomas had only just turned one so he was still talking gibberish. he was so adorable. He looked exactly like Jax when he was a baby, mom showed me pictures not so long ago and he was the cutest kid, well not as cute as me of course. Me and Wendy talked for a while, Abel was playing with his blocks and Thomas was down for the afternoon.

Around 15 minutes later my mom walked in and not in a very good mood.
"What's up mom?" I asked worriedly, I have a feeling it's something to do with Clay.
"My bastard of an ex-husband has been sleeping with a whore from Caracara. Scumbag got her pregnant." she said slamming every cupboard door in sight.

" What the hell! I hate that guy so much, I never liked him." I said standing up and walking to my mom and hugging her from behind.
"The piece of shit told me he didnt have it in him to have more kids, but sleeps with a tramp once and gets her skanky ass pregnant!" She shouted angrily. She turned around and gave me a proper hug and i kissed her cheek.
"Want me to make you a coffee ma?". She nodded and walked towards the dining table where Wendy was.
I made 3 coffees and took them to my mom and wendy, we talked for a while until Nero came home and kissed my mom. That was my cue to leave.
