The Dorito Girl

     I froze when Errol said I was first....that is like so unfair but hey im not here to complain.

     "Okay,now Danielwe are gonna sift through your memories cause we already know your power'so calm down" Errol explained.

     "Okay" I dont know but when he explained it I just got more nervus.

     "Darita will sift through your memorie,she is our finest Phys-nate"

     "Hi,I am Darita,now do what I tell you okay?" Darita said with an Errol ish style.

     "Okay Mam" Sheesh she's like Errols pet or something,but she is hot!

     "Excuse me Mr Derby!" She said like she was thoroughly offended,her red hair matched her face that looked like a girl that can kick your butt (which I find more beautiful)  face.

     "What?"

     "Why?,I can read your thoughts way back to the end of the room....you should shut up sometimes" She said more bratty and her cheeks reddening .

     "Oh" I managed to do a taunting smirk,This now explains that I am not alone.The voices that I hear everyday at school,I felt like I was going crazy cause my mom even brought me to the school phsyciatrist.

     "Why you pea brained jer-!"

     "Now Darita there is no time for bickering,time is ticking" Errol said almost like an order.

     She shot me  a "it's your fault!" look then crossed her arms like how she was planning to kill me.

    "Fine" She breathed hevily.

     "Now breathe slowly just keep calm and close your eyes,relax your mind and your body and remember not to resist when you feel something creep up on your mind" She ordered carefully (That's creepy).

     "Okay"

    I slowed my breathing and felt my eyelids close.

     "Hello!" My (mental) voice echoed.

    "Hi pea brain" another voice replied.

    "Now Dorito-"

    "Its Darita!"

    a moment of silence......

    "Forget it,ugh"

    "So relax your mind and-, whoa what a really empty head"

    "Hey!"

    "Well your barriers are tough nuts to crack"

     "barriers?"

     " A kind of wall that protects your mind from other Phys-nates to infiltrate your mind"

    "Oh okay,um isn't this an invasion of privacy?"

     "Ugh only if it was involuntary,now can we start"

    "Okay"

    There was a creeping feeling in my mind and suddenly I felt like something was unwoving a precious package slowly and slowly.

    "Wait!!"

    "What!!" She asked in an impatient tone.

    "Is this safe?"

    "It is if you shut up!"

     "Okay"

     "With a little practice this mind can be invulnerable" she said in an amazed tone"

    Then in a few minutes.....

     Something clicked  and almost immediately I retaliated instinctively and saw a little Darita crying at the side of the street gnawing hunger atacking her like a hurricane then it changed,now a younger version of Errol talked to her to come to a community that cared for children like her.

    Then a glimmer of hope slipped in her that theres a chance she can have a new life then she smiled for the first time.

     I opened my eyes and saw Darita jerk her head backwards like she was punched by an invosible force,then she opened her eye shocked.

    Luckily Errol catched her.

    "Oh! i'm sorry Darita "

    "IT'S okay just....forget it" She said it like it was just an irritating memory.

    "Errol I think we need back up" She regained her composure.

    "I understand " Errol slipped his hand on his pocket and took out a black cubelike thing but when he pressed it it sprang to life and warped into a smart phone (cool)"

    "Erenda call the twins okay" There was a short conversation and he closed the phone.

     Darita looked at me shyly and swatted it away with a stern look.

     Well that was an unnerving moment.
