Trinity's POV

I sigh and put my face in my hands, tears still falling. I feel my palms get soaked but I don't care. I'm losing my best friend. I'm losing the one who makes me smile. The one who makes me happy no matter what. The one who understands me perfectly. I lift my head up and see something glittery sitting on top of my bag. I grab it and bring it closer to see that it's Maddie's starfish clip. I smile slightly and clip it in my hair, making me fix my braid so it's a side braid. I smile as my hand brushes aginst the small clip, bringing back memories.

Maddie and I had just started Football camp, and we were both 10 years old. We had no idea that we would both become the best of friends. I only knew her as the girl with the starfish in her hair, and she only knew me as the girl who loved kicking the ball. Soon, I had built up the courage to talk to her, since I was pretty shy. After a few minutes of shy chitchat, we started laughing and learning a whole bunch about each other, and I learned that her name was Maddie. She learned that my name was Trinity. We both had common interests, like an interest in eating chocolate and playing video games. We later on went back to my house and played video games until Maddie had to leave. Over the years, we've been there for each other through thick and thin, and we became the closest of friends. We were inseperable, just like sisters. We know everything there is to know about each other and we can't keep secrets from each other.

My thought were interrupted when I heard a rustle behind me. I stand up and turn around, trying to see who or what was making that noise, but it's too dark out for me to see anything.

" Who's there?" I call out into what seems like nothing. There are no stars in the sky, which is odd. It's also a new moon, so there's no moonlight whatsoever. I hear more rustling and I become scared.

" Dad? Mom? Maddie?" I call out, reaching down for my phone. Just as I grab it, I feel a cloth get shoved onto my mouth. I kick and thrash about, but after a few seconds, my arms, legs, and whole body feels heavy and as I fall to the ground, I lose consiousness.

???s POV

I hear a crack as the girl falls to the ground. I pick up the small object next to her. It's her phone, and the screen is cracked. I drop the phone back onto the ground and pick the girl up, surprised by how light she is. I hold her bridal-style and carry her back to the van, where I put her in the back seat. I tie her hands and feet together and place a strip of silver duct tape over her mouth. I close the door and jog over to the drivers seat. I slide in and start up the car.

" TRINITY? WHERE ARE YOU?" I hear a man shout out and I quickly close the door and drive down the road.

**at the house-???s POV**

I pull up the long driveway and stop the car behind Liam's silver motorola. I get out of the car and open the door to the back seat. I pick the girl up and close the door. I hold her bridal-style and walk inside, getting all the attention of the other boys. I walk upstairs without uttering a word and stroll into my room. I throw the girl onto my bed and walk out, closing and locking the door behind me. I take out my phone and dial the boss.

" Hello?" an icy voice fills my head and I smile.

" I got her," I state plainly and all the boys stare at me with disbelief.

" Good job, Niall," the boss praises and I smile proudly.

" Let me check the cameras," the boss trails off and I bet he's checking the video footage.

" Niall, that isn't Maddie Beckham," the boss' voice becomes cold and harsh and my smile fades.

" What do you mean? Who is she, then?" I ask, bewildered.

" That's Trinity Messi, Lionel's daughter. You kidnapped the wrong girl, Niall," the boss scolds and hangs up.
