My Daddy was hosting a jewellery launch party. Coco and I were allowed invite friends. Of course I invited Charlotte. I asked her if she'd like to stay over.
The night grew long and the party was going on until the early hours of the morning. Charlotte and I retired to my bedroom around 1am.
'Charlotte, I need to talk to you about something. We are adults now and I think we should be able to talk about this without getting too worked up.' I stammer.
'Just spit it out Em' Charlotte laughed.
'I don't really know how to say it...' I say.
I capture her lips in mine. She freezes.
'Oh God, Charlotte I'm s... ' she shuts me up with a deep kiss. She pins me to the bed and we fumble with one another's clothing.
'We waited too long. I'm so happy you brought it up Emer, its about time' Charlotte gasps.
We spend the night making love and kissing, making up for all the months missed.
'I love you' Charlotte tells me.
'I love you too' I whisper.
With that we fall asleep. I'm so deeply in love, but now I had to tell my parents and Chris. This would be hard.
