Nicole POV
After spending time at the mall and heading to the movies, Adam and I drove to a dimly-lit restaurant called "Buccas", which was a small Italian restaurant. It was already 3:45 and we had spent the whole day together. Adam drove the car through valet and we went inside. We were greeted by the manager, who was an older gentleman and wore glasses. "Hi, welcome to Buccas. Table for two?" Adam nodded his head and we walked to the back. Upon observation, Adam had good taste in restaurants and in his car. I didn't notice it at first but I saw he was driving a 2017 Jaguar F-Type British design. It was black in color and had smooth leather seats. James is clouding my thoughts from having a good time. Relax and have fun. Adam pulled out my chair for me and sat down beside me. "So, from the phone call, I'm assuming you forgot our date?" I nervously looked down and muttered, "Yes". Adam looked at me and laughed. "It's okay. Honestly, I forgot also and I quickly showered and dressed." I glanced at his face and noticed he had piercing hazel eyes. "Well, Adam, why don't you tell me about yourself?" I asked. Adam scooted close to me and began his mini biography. "Well, I was born in Orlando, Florida in 1993. I moved here to Virginia when I was five years old because my father was hired to be an interpreter for the German consulate." "Oh", I said in surprise. "You speak German?" "Very little, but I am fluent in Italian and Spanish. It's almost the same so it was easy to learn." The waiter came around to take our order. "I'll have the pheasant with mushrooms and a bourbon." Adam replied. The waiter turned to me and I replied, "I'll have the chicken parmesan with penne pasta and a crown with coke." The waiter turned and walked to the kitchen. I looked around and saw that we were alone. "This place looks lonely." Adam grabbed my hand and smiled. "That's because I paid the manager to close the restaurant for us only." I gasped and smiled. Adam is proving to be the epitome of what a good person should be. The waiter brought out our drinks and an appetizer. "Hope you like calamari with marinara sauce." Adam said. I replied with, "You know me so well." Adam smiled at me. We each had a mouthful of calamari and I giggled at him. "Oh stop. You have more than me." We both looked at each other and smiled. We finished our portion and had our drinks. "I love Star Wars, Marvel and DC. I like black and white movies, one musical, and I enjoy being in your company." He kissed my hand. Holy crap! This is moving too fast. Adam saw my reaction and said, "Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do that." Adam apologized. I looked at him and said, "It's okay but don't do it again, please." Adam shook his head and the food arrived. We ate in silence. Adam looked embarrassed for what he had done. I put my fork and knife down and said to him, "Please don't feel this way. I'm okay." I grabbed his hand and kissed his cheek. Adam looked bewildered and yet, happy. Finally, we finished and continued talking. "Um what about you? What are your interests? Where did you come from?" Adam asked me. I put my drink down and said, "I was born in Houston, Texas in 1995. I moved here because my mother and father got a job here also. They're both prosecuting attorneys for the State. I'm an only child, but my mother is still young so she wants another child. I'm also interested in Star Wars, Marvel and DC." Adam replied, "I have two siblings. A brother and a little sister. She's the one we had the party for." The waiter came around with dessert, which consisted of chocolate cake with two vanilla ice-cream scoops and M&M's as a topping. The waiter gave us plates and we each cut our own portion. "Do you mind if I do something?" Adam asked. "Uh..yes. What did you to do?" Adam leaned in close and said, "Close your eyes." His deep voice soothed me and I obeyed him. "Don't move." I felt him come closer to me and I felt his lips on mine. I kissed back. After everything I have been through, I needed comfort. I opened my eyes and saw Adam looking at me with interest and love. We finished our dessert and walked off to his car. "What else would you like do, my dear?" I looked at Adam and I said, "Well, I don't mind what we do. I'm content with anything." Adam began to drive and I saw that my phone was ringing. UNKNOWN displayed on my phone. I ignored the call. Adam drove to a park and we got out. There was a gazebo with flowers wrapped around and he led me to the gazebo. "Wait here." I stayed at the gazebo and Adam brought out a speaker and his phone. He began to play "When I Fall in Love" by Andrea Bocelli. "Dance with me, princess." I grabbed his hand. He twirled me around and I fell on his chest. He was built with strong arms and had a loving presence about him. We danced until the song finished and we stopped. Adam looked down at me and breathed heavily. "You are the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. I know that I met you not long but I feel that I was supposed to meet you and that we were meant to be together." I gasped quietly. He raised his hand to move my hair back. He grabbed my neck and kissed me again. His kiss felt comforting and so close. We walked back to the car and we drove around for an hour. We stopped at a secluded corner. Adam asked me to get close to him. I obeyed. He kissed me again and began to make his way to my neck. I let out a small moan and said, "Adam, wait. I can't. I don't want to do this." Adam looked at me and said, "I'm sorry. I'm so attracted to you and I help can't myself. Its getting late. I'll take you home." We drove in silence. I couldn't do that to myself. I needed to respect myself. It was already 7:45 and Adam walked me to my door. "I had a good time, Adam. Thank you again." Adam smiled at me. "Nicole, I'm sorry for what I did. Please forgive me." I looked at him and replied, "I do." Adam grinned and said, "I'll talk to you tomorrow. Goodnight, my love." He leaned in again and kissed me. The kiss was passionate and true. Adam said goodnight again and walked to his car. I walked into my home and sighed. I felt like I was falling for him. My thoughts were interrupted with a dark and angry voice. "Did you enjoy your day, my queen?" I turned around and saw James with angry eyes and a knife.
