As I headed for my class of the day, I noticed something shiny on the floor. I was going to be late but the curiosity got to me. I walked up to the object and it was a very small black dragon with a shiny silver tag attached to it. I went to pick it up but jumped back when it made a noise and shifted. It turned towards me and made a tiny rawr. It was so cute but i didn't know what to do. It walked up to me and hopped on my lap. I read the tag and it said “If you have found this tiny dragon, Congrats you now own a dragon because i'm not keeping this thing. His name is Alduin.” I was shocked. Who would ever get rid of something like this it's so precious. I picked up the dragon and it cuddled into my grasp. Ok alduin you're coming with me. I put him in my hoodie pocket and i went to class. I Didn't want to carry this thing around all day what if it makes noise. I wrote a note to my friend. It read “ meet me at the edge of my woods. Its urgent!” I then faked sick and it worked as my friend helped me get my stuff i handed him the note. His name was Dave strider my only friend in the school. He helped me pack up and i started my walk home. I Called my brother but he didn't answer as usual. So now i'm walking home like normal. Alduin shifted in  my pocket and i looked down to see he was sleeping. He was so cute. I got to the edge of the forest and waited for Dave to get out of school. 2 hours later i saw dave running towards me. He was out of breath for he ran the whole way. “ Ok what was so urgent!? It better be good because i ran all the way from the city!” Said dave slightly annoyed. I pulled alduin out of my pocket and smiled. He screamed and fell on his butt. “Shh! Dave don't be so loud you don't want to alert any attention. Let's go to my place where it's safer. “Wait then why are we at the woods!?” Dave asked confused and slightly freaked out. “ didn't i tell you? I live in the forest!” I said surprised. “Seems legit when it comes to you.” said Dave. “ follow me” I gestured him to follow and started for the woods. We entered the woods and after an hour of walking we reached my house. It was a tree house with a battle arena. Dave looked shocked “ There is no time for nonsense we have a dragon to tend to.” I entered the treehouse and Dave followed. “Cloud! I don't know how to take care of a dragon!” Dave said practically freaked out. I was already making a nest and i put Alduin in it. “Dave go to the ice box and grab a piece of meat”. Dave went to the ice box and grabbed out a piece of meat. “What is this!?” said dave holding out the piece of meat. “Its best if you didn’t know…” I said as my eyes shifted to the floor. I grabbed the meat and gave it to the small dragon. “So what is that thing any ways ive never seen anything like it?!” said dave gesturing to alduin. “It's a dragon! Well a baby dragon that is… it looks to be a hatchling he isn't that old.” I said. Alduin fell asleep and i looked over to dave. “Hey, do you wanna watch a movie?” i said is i gestured to a pile of action and horror movies with a few rom coms mixed in. “Nah I Gotta go try asking karkat, he’s always up for those crappy romcoms of yours.” said dave in a chilled back tone. My door burst open as Karkat walked in “THERE NOT CRAPPY YOU DINGUS!” Said Karkat crabby as usual but hey that's Karkat. “HOW DID YOU EVEN GET HERE!?” said Dave in a confused and slightly surprised tone. “Know what never mind! I don't even want to know!” said Dave in defeat as he walked out with his hands up. “Dave you don't even know your way out!” I yelled to him as he started for the more thick paths of the forest. “Fang escort Dave home” I said as i looked at my wolf. Fang nodded and ran to dave and started to bring him home. I put in a dvd and turned on the tv I started the popcorn and karkat knew this pattern all too well. “ROMCOM TIME!” Karkat said in his normal loud voice. He can be quieter but it takes a little bit before he settles down. I handed him the popcorn and went over to alduin and picked him up and carried him to the couch. “IS THAT A TINY DRAG-” he was cut off mid sentence by clouds finger to his lips. “Settle down karkat i don't want to startle him. “SOR- sorry” he said calming himself down. She settled herself on the couch next to karkat and put alduin on her lap and pulled the blanket over the three of them. He started the movie and karkat was already deep into the movie. Cloud watched the movie silently with karkat. Mid way through the movie she grew tired and her eyelids grew heavy, karkat was distracted by a sudden warmth on his side. He looked over alarmed to see a sleeping cloud hugging a sleeping dragon leaning on his shoulder. His eyes softened and he had a small smile spread across his lips. He patted her on the head and she lightly pureed. Karkat finished the movie and dozed off to dreamland.
