It was dark and cold. I reached for my blanket, to find it gone. I opened my eyes to see a sickeningly familiar room. Nothing had changed. Not a single thing. No no no! This isn't supposed to happen! I escaped and told no one! I looked to see what I was wearing for the next, forever long I'll be here, and saw I was wearing a black zip up hoodie with a white long-sleeve shirt and black jeans with my cowboy boots. The doors opened, and I laid back down, as if I was still asleep.

"I know you're awake. Sit up," I did as told. He doesn't look like the guy before. This guy, was hot. Dark brown hair, with little black mixed in, that was short and had the front spiked up a bit. Bright blue/green eyes. He had on jeans and a tight black t-shirt that outlined his abs perfectly with a dark green long-sleeve button up shirt that hung loosely around him, but was very fitting around his arms. Lastly he had on dark brown cowboy boots that seemed to match the bracelets he had on each wrist. "Hey!" He shouted, I didn't jump, just looked at him. "No jump? That's different," he grinned.

"Little to nothing had scared me since the last time I was here," I felt the blood rush away from my face and my heart fall into my stomach. If you escape, you say nothing. If you come back and you had escaped, don't tell them you've escaped. The familiar words repeated in my head. It was some girls, I couldn't quite remember.

"Wow! No one has ever left before," he congratulated me. I looked at him sideways. "I'm not here to hurt you. I'm here to, help, you." He walked over to and knelt in front of me. I didn't move an inch.

"What? Why? I should be, eliminated," what the fuck me? Shut the fuck up! I screamed in my head.

"Well, things have changed the past 3 years. I'm the one that run this thing now," makes sense, "and I've seen what you can do. I used to work in a small monitoring office here."

"I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but why am I here? The hell do I get out of this? Other than 50% chance of death."

"Well, before I came into, let's say 'power', they decided to bring 6 old and 6 new. You're the first one here, and what you get out of this is something that can only be offered once and only once."

"Half new and half experienced? That doesn't seem fair," I know! I should be asking what the deal is, I'll do that in a bit.

"You were new with some olds," I couldn't help the laughed that escaped my mouth.

"Well they sucked," he smiled and nodded.

"You're special though," I turned my head confused, "you were the only one to actually have a plan to survive and plan to escape." Well, that's enough stalling from me.

"So what's this, deal?" I said, putting quotes around deal.

"It's been going on for years, and I'd like to continue it. I used to be like you. Come here and not know what goes on. Tries to live a life once I survived this and get dragged back here. I was in the same position you are in now. I so called won this thing, and now work here, under protection and I turned out to actually like it. No one bugged me or pull me back here, unless I wanted to." I didn't really know how to respond.

"So, if I win, I can be free?"

"Yes and no," I threw my head back groaning, why is this so confusing? "You can't go back to your normal life but can come close to it."

"So, I can have freedom, just not see my friends or my remaining family?"

"Sounds bad when you put it that way," I scoffed at that. "So? Deal or not? And remember, this can only happen once and now." I thought for a second. Not that I missed this, but I was never the same without it. I couldn't be myself and was always on high alert. If I lived threw this, I could probably get them to let me say goodbye to my brother and come right back here. "So?" He grinned hopefully. I sighed and answered.
