I was packing my things up while listening to music when I suddenly heard a bang from the door, my foster sister's and my room, and I opened it because my foster sister was too busy playing dolls. "Can I help you?" I asked, my foster mom at the time wasn't the best, "Don't give me such an attitude young lady" Lucky I had enough patience with this house and the two others, "Remember you're leaving tomorrow"
She's smoking...like usual...and holding the baby...just perfect "yeah I know i'm packing my few things I got.." I took the baby, I want to take her she would be happier with me than here... These kids would be..I sighed "Hmph good thing you took that thing away from me" I glared at her and I'm mad at her but i'm good at hiding my true emotions "Oh she's an angel" she got mad that I called her an angel but I didn't care. I shut the door and got back to packing while holding Judith, she looks just like me I thought to myself Amber interrupted my thoughts, she tugged on my twenty-one pilots t-shirt, "Do you really have to go? I don't want you to leave then it would just be me, mommy and daddy" I could tell she was really sad to hear the news I bent down "Yeah I have to go..But maybe you and mommy could go to the park and I could meet you, Okay?"
Her expression changed at bit she was kind of happy to hear that "y-yeah okay" she hugged me and I hugged her back.
It was seven O'clock at night and I served dinner for me, Amber and Judith for Amber I fixed her some macaroni and cheese and for Judith she had her baby food since she was only eighteen months, it was squash, peas and corn and I just had an apple. A little time has passed and I was going to do something nobody thought I would do- psh not even I thought I would do it. I started to gather some of Amber's things praying that my foster dad and foster mom would come home drunk tonight so they wouldn't question it, I got a lot of Judith's things i put all of their things in my backpack.
I grabbed some money from the foster parents 'safe' and some I got from babysitting.
I have 150 dollars from babysitting and 35 from their safe so in all I got.....185..hmmm I thought that should be enough for more food, bus tickets. Suddenly I heard stomping from outside the trailer I knew it was them so I quickly hid everything and put Amber in our room so she couldn't be exposed to this kind of behavior anymore, she's seen way too much before I got placed here, I picked up Judith too she's seen too much also and she's just an infant, luckily all of us shared a room together so It doesn't seem weird that I bring Judith with me.
