Grace snuggled closer to Isaac, seeking out his warmth. She was still half asleep when she felt Isaac's arm snake around her waist. He used caution to not put any pressure on her wound, which she felt grateful for. It still ached every time she moved, but it felt a lot better now that she had a good night's sleep in a real bed. He kissed her shoulder and she rolled onto her back to face him.
"Morning, Gracie." He smiled down at her, that adorable lopsided smile that she loved. His hair stuck straight up on one side and she reached up, running her fingers through his hair until it all stuck up in every direction.
"Good morning," she grinned, stealing a brief kiss. "How are you today?"
Isaac leaned down, kissing the base of her throat and leaving a trail of fire on her skin as he worked his way up to her lips.
"Better now that you're awake," he joked. He kissed the side of her throat and grinned. "Did you know that this was the first place that I ever kissed you?"
Her eyebrows rose in surprise. "I don't remember that."
"That's because you had been asleep. Remember after Copenhagen and you were so upset that you wanted me to sleep next to you? Well, in the morning, I kissed you there, but you were so out of it that you didn't seem to notice."
"Really?" Grace asked as she laughed. "You never told me that before."
With a chuckle, Isaac kissed the tip of Grace's nose. "It wasn't the right time. Anyways, you slept like a log last night. I got so bored waiting for you to wake up."
Grace giggled, pulling him down to give him another kiss. "Well now that you're awake, maybe we can play some more. That bathtub looked like it had enough room for two."
"I like the way you think," Isaac said, hopping out of bed and pulling his shirt over his head so fast it was dizzying. Grace hadn't even gotten the sheets off her legs yet before he was halfway to the bathroom.
"Wow, easy there tiger," she joked. "Where's the fire?"
Isaac drew her toward him, his fingers flirting with the hem of her tank top for a few seconds as he trailed his fingers along the waistband of her underwear. Dipping his head, he pressed his mouth to hers, his lips sending little shivers of pleasure through her as he maneuvered them expertly over her own.
"I waited almost two years to do this," he whispered. "That was way too long."
Grace nipped his lips playfully, letting her fingers tangle in his hair. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get moving."

Grace couldn't wipe the smile off her face as she sat cross-legged on the bed, sopping up the syrup on her plate with the last piece of her waffle. Isaac had ordered them breakfast while she had finished getting ready.
"I still can't believe you remembered that my favorite breakfast was a Belgian waffle with strawberries," she said as she downed the last of her orange juice. "We only went out to breakfast once in Denmark."
Isaac chuckled, pointing to himself and saying, "Spy—remember?"
"So am I, but that doesn't mean I remember everyone's favorite breakfast food," Grace shook her head wryly.
"Well to be fair, I don't remember everyone's favorite breakfast food," Isaac grinned. "Just yours."
Grace felt a blush creeping into her cheeks and she looked down at her hands to disguise the silly grin that had just gotten even wider. No one had ever made her feel the way Isaac did. She had missed him so much.
"Are you going to call Johnson?" she asked, changing the subject. Isaac was grinning at her as though he knew exactly what he did to her which made her blush even harder. Isaac shrugged, tossing an orange lightly to her. "I'll call him today, but I'm not in any hurry. As long as we're off grid, I want to spend some time with you."
"Oh really?" Grace grinned, giving her hair an artful toss. Two could play at this game. "What did you have in mind?"
"Well, it wouldn't be a trip to Switzerland without stopping to get some chocolate," Isaac joked.
Grace laughed, he knew her too well. "I'm never opposed to chocolate. What else?"
"I'm not going to ruin the surprise," Isaac teased, the corners of his mouth quirking up in a grin. "Where's the fun in that?"
"I'm ready when you are," Grace said, standing up and shuffling her shoes onto her feet. "Let's go!"
Isaac laughed at her enthusiasm and followed her out of the hotel and into the city. Grace had always loved Europe for its beautiful buildings and cobbled streets. It looked like the setting for a fairy tale. As if to confirm her thoughts, Isaac took her hand, giving it a squeeze.
"This is the best chocolate shop I've ever been to," Isaac said as he opened the door. A little bell tinkled overhead as Grace stepped inside, her mouth watering at the delicious smell that wafted into her nose.
"I used to come here every once in a while and get chocolates and send them to you," Isaac said. "I couldn't ever send a note with them because I didn't want anyone to be able to trace me, but I missed you so much I couldn't help it."
"That was you?" Grace gasped, shock coursing through her. "I always thought it was someone at work playing a joke."
"Well, that's technically true," Isaac grinned. "I mean, I was your coworker for a little while and I thought it was kinda funny."
Grace reached over and smacked his shoulder playfully, the motion pulled on her stitches a little, but she barely noticed. She had missed the banter, but more than anything, she had missed the way Isaac looked at her like she was the only girl in the world.
After buying their chocolates, Isaac led her to a park in the center of the city. The trees were just starting to bud and flowers blossomed in every flower bed. Isaac led her over to a fountain where they sat down and ate their chocolate.
"So two truths and a lie," Isaac said, humor lighting his eyes. "I've wanted to bring you here since the day I met you, I don't ever want you to leave again, and I love you."
Grace surveyed him up and down, Isaac had always been difficult to play this game with, but no one had been able to beat him except her. "I don't want it to be the last two, so I'm going with the first one."
"Wrong," Isaac grinned, pulling her in for a kiss. Grace frowned for a split second, but then the corners of his eyes crinkled as he continued. "They were all true."
"Cheater," Grace giggled, remembering the last time they had this conversation. "That's not now the game works."
Isaac grinned, popping another chocolate into his mouth. "Well, no one ever said I played by the rules."
"I know," Grace replied, leaning in and kissing his mouth even though it was still full of chocolate. "That's one of the things I like about you."
"So you like devilishly handsome men who don't play by the rules," Isaac teased playfully. "Good to know."
Grace gave his shoulder a playful shove. She hadn't meant to upset his balance, but Isaac slid backward into the fountain, pulling Grace in with him. She came up spluttering and laughing, throwing water in his face.
"You jerk," she giggled. "Now I'm all wet."
Isaac chuckled, helping her up. "Well, you did start it. I just finished it."
Grinning at the sight of the small crowd of people that had gathered to watch them, Grace stepped out of the fountain. She couldn't stop laughing, especially when she realized that Isaac had a bunch of leaves in his hair.
"Come on," she giggled as they started walking. "Let's go get dried off."
