"Michael! Get down here we have to talk to you!" My mother yelled from downstairs. I roll my eyes. My parents have been fighting nonstop for the past month and it's annoying the hell out of me. I know what is going to happen so I hope they don't expect me to cry or beg for them to stay together. It's not gonna happen.
"I'm coming mom!" I yell back and with a deep sigh slide out of my bed and walk downstairs. My mother looks at me teary eyed and my father is sitting on the couch with his legs crossed and stone faced.
"Yeah mom?" I ask playing stupid. She looks at me and says trying to sugar coat what's happening as much as possible
"Your father and I have decided-" I had enough right there
"Your going to break up, I know. Mom it's okay. It's for the best interest of you guys. I'm fine with it." I say with a shrug.
My mother looks at me and says
"M-Michael that's really mature of you. I'm so glad that your okay with this. So, which one of us do you want to live with. I mean if your father is okay with you choosing." She seems... satisfied to the fact that I agree with them splitting up. My father doesn't seem to agree with my mother on some parts though. He's now standing up in between me and my mother.
"You heartless little prick how could you agree with something like this? And you you stupid bitch, h-" My eyes widen in anger with his insults
"Hey! You don't talk to me or my mother like that!" I yell
" Awww. Look at the wittle boy standin' up for his momma." He taunts
"Stop it." My mother says sternly.
"Shut up, slut" he says and backhands her face. I sock him in his nose and hear the sickening crack of the bone. He screams in pain. He stumbles backwards and trip over the rug and bounces his head off the floor. He stays on the ground now unconscious.
"Mom let's go. We need to go." I rush. We grab few things. I grab my phone, charger, jacket, random t-shirt and blue jeans, and my necklace. It's very special to me. My brother gave it to me before he... He told me it was special and I can't let anyone have it. My mother grabs her purse,phone,charger,t-shirt and jeans, and her amulet. Her sister had the same... event as my brother and she gave her that amulet and told her the same thing my brother told me. My mother volunteered to drive. As we're driving I thought I saw...No, that's not possible,I watched him die. I'm probably just tired. I turn my head to look out the windshield and just as I'm about to close my eyes I see him again.
No. This can't be happening. I saw him die. But I just saw him. It can't be. Unless...No. They said it was impossible! But it could be. They said only one person, but he's locked up!
Right?
I'm so proud. The cliffhangers tho;) I hope you liked it. This book is 1. Going to be really long or 2. a long series. That's for you people to decide...
Yours Truly,
