Monday, January 14- Juniper

Do you ever have the most otherworldly thoughts, where you would never do any of them in a real-life scenario but somehow they just pop into your head? I had the weirdest thought earlier... I went back to 80/20 and talked to that mysterious artsy girl again. We got to know each other. We saw the start of a budding friendship. But that would never happen in a real life situation. I saw that rainbow pin, and even if I don't spread hate, I certainly wouldn't hang around one of those damn queers.
Jamie, was it? Her name and face filled my thoughts. Who was she? What was she? Am I the one to judge? I honestly don't know. I decided I would go back to 80/20 and work on my book, maybe get a drink or two. If she was there, I wasn't going to take any action. If not, cool. When I arrived, I took a quick look around. Then, I saw her again. She still had the eyelashes, matted lipstick, eyeliner that could cut, the striking hair, and the... and the.. what? Where was it? Where was the pin? I soon noticed her hat, with a little rainbow and a cloud with something in a language I couldn't understand. "グーグル翻訳はゲイです." I didn't want to ask her what it meant. I decided I would ignore her and her hat and her bubblegum pink shirt and bright blue jeans. I wasn't gonna talk to some hippie queer. I worked on the book for a while and decided I was getting bored, so I packed up my stuff and got ready to go. "Hey, June, get over here! Ya didn't miss me, did you?" Jamie was trying to talk to me again. "If it's another apology you want, I already gave it to you." I said, boldly. "Well someone's not in a good mood. But hey, my motto is to be so blunt that they could smoke your truth, so who am I to judge?" She had a point there. "Uh, I'm gonna head home." I didn't feel like talking to her. "Wanna go to the pride parade with me? It's going on later and it's pretty close by, maybe you'll find things to write about!"
Wow. Nope. I now knew for sure. She was a fucking queer. Looks like I'm not talking to her any time soon.
