Monday, January 14- Jamie
I was headed over to 80/20 burger bar to draw for a bit, like usual. Dad had been drinking and I just really wanted to get out of the house. I had a few blunts from the night before so I smoked one along the way. I'm not addicted, but a little smoke every now and then never hurt anybody.
As I walked in, I was greeted by the face of a beautiful girl smushed up against a computer keyboard, asleep. I sat by her for about ten minutes when suddenly, she woke up. I leaned in real close and said, "good afternoon, sleepyhead!" Her hair was an ebony fading to a platinum-silverish, and it was pretty close to shoulder length. She had a gold cross around her neck and the look in her eyes implied that she had been exhausted from her writing. I heard a muffled groan, and after about a minute, this cute lil girly screamed an apology for groaning. I decided to flirt a little, so I told her a bit about myself. I knew I had no chance, but hey, it was always fun to play with them.
I went home that night feeling empty. It was like there was a void. Dad was out yet again, so I picked up mom's picture and looked into her eyes for a minute. There was something about that cute, religious girl that seemed a little.. off. Depressed, even.
When she came back, she completely avoided me. For about two hours she typed away, and little did she know, I was sketching her. As she was about to leave, I called her over and decided to tease her a little bit. I even invited her to pride. She seemed so flustered, it was like she absolutely despised he idea along with me, and you could see it in her eyes. Verbally speaking, though, she politely refused and walked away. I feel this girl may become a special character soon. I don't know what, but I do know this isn't he last I'll be seeing her. She introduced herself as Juniper, so why don't I just call her June? Sounds good. I'm excited for how this plays out. Is it wrong to think a girl is cute?
