Lost and broken

The begining of a life unwanted

   One day a beautiful baby girl named Elizabeth throne Amber was born. Her mother was so happy to see her healthy child but her father on the other hand was not. The doctors handed him his daughter but he didn't want to see it. He dropped her causing her to hit her head. The doctors weren't happy and neither was the family. As doctors pushed him out, one of the doctors held the child. "She will be as beautiful as you one day Mrs. Amber" she smiled. The mother looked down "I don't know if I'll see that day. My husband he does horrible things and I don't want her to see it." The doctors smile faded. Looking at the child, the female doctor looked at the mother "ma'am if you'd like I can take your daughter to live with me. I'm soon to be retiring and I'm not married so she'll have me the whole time." The mother looked up shooked but it turned to a smile and tears "yes yes please anything for her to live happily." The doctor smiled then looked at the baby "call me auntie scarlet when your older okay" The mother looked like she was crying. "I don't wanna go back to him. I want my daughter and her sister to live happily. Please take care of them for me." The doctor looked shocked and nodded her head, understanding. Then the mother pulled out the IV and stood up. "Ma'am sit down please before your stitches come undone." The woman walked to the window and opened it. The doctor sat the baby down and tried to get the woman "someone help me in here. She's trying to jump" she screamed at the top of her lungs. The woman pushed the doctor making her fall, before anyone could get in there the lady had jumped. The doctor ran to the window and looked but what she saw left tears in her eyes.

      The doctor tried to get up but couldn't. Tears streamed down her cheeks. A nurse ran in " scarlet what happened?" "I tried to save her but she pushed me and I hit my head before I could even get up, she jumped." scarlet said gasping with every word. The nurse hugged her "its okay. Its okay let it out." Twenty minutes passed and the baby was in the nursery. The husband went to scarlet. "You let her die. She was gonna take care of that child." he screamed at her then he shoved her on the ground. He grabbed her by the neck "its your fault that woman is dead." The security came and pulled him off of her. She got up "no its not I tried to save her but its your fault you made her feel unwanted, I'm not blind I saw the beat marks on her. She left a note for the doctor which IS me" she pulled out the note and read it. "Dear Doctor, I want to end it all. Please take care of my daughters. My husband is an abusive man that drinks way to much. Please take them from that home. I can't let them go through what I've been through. Sincerely Madison Amber." Everyone looked at the husband. He looked angry "I will kill you if you touch those things." I got really frustrated but stayed calm "Apposing a threat to kill a government worker can put you in jail along with the abuse to Madison and your daughter. Therefore John Amber, you have no parental supervision to your daughters. I will have custody of them and raise them. You are not allowed anywhere near or in a 5,000 mile radius of us. You will be sent to jail for the rest of your life time along with every other crime you've committed." The security dragged him away. She looked at the baby. It was a horrible thing, to have two children lose their mother and to have a father sent to jail for the horrible things he has done. As thoughts went through Scarlett's mind, tears fell "This is a fresh start for you and your sister. I will do what I can to care for you two."
