Jungkook POV

Its been a few months since Blackpink's official debut and our fanboying over them continued. We all wanted a chance to meet Blackpink but with how busy our schedules are, it seemed impossible.

"Hey Kookie, have you seen their latest Inkigayo performance?", Jimin asked me.

"Yeah, why?"

"Do you have a video of it? I haven't seen it yet..."

"And what makes you think I have it?", Jimin looks at me skeptically.

"Because you've been downloading all their videos just to see your precious Lisa?"

How could he have known about that?, I thought. I honestly thought my confession of having met Lisa before will eventually be forgotten by the rest of the members, but no such luck. Ever since I admitted that Lisa was my bias, the rest of the member have been teasing me. They constantly ask me when I'll have the nerve to actually go watch one of their shows live. But knowing my hyungs, they're only using me as an excuse to see Blackpink themselves.

"Fine, so I do have the video downloaded. But I ain't showing it to you for free."

"Ehh?? Why not?!?!"

"Obviously, because I need you to do something for me."

"Fine, what is it?"

"Help me sneak out of our schedule then, you have to accompany me to Inkigayo to watch Blackpink.", Jimin looks at me incredulously.

"I would have done that with you whether you showed me the video or not, But deal! When are we gonna do it?"

"On their comeback performance."

November 2016

Jimin POV

We've definitely gone crazy, I thought. Just a few minutes ago, Jungkook and I miraculously managed to sneak out of rehearsal. Our manager gave us an hour of rest, so me and Jungkook told them we'll buy food. Taehyung wanted to come with us, but me and Jungkook quickly ran away to the elevator. The less the people are involved in our plan, the less damage.

Luckily the place where we were practicing in, was only a few train stops away from the Inkigayo stage. We both made sure that we had our disguises on while out on the street, we didn't want to be chased by the press.

"Are you sure we should be doing this?", I ask Jungkook.

"Why are you scared?"

"Of course I am! Forget Jin hyung's anger on how disobedient we were, we'll be facing Taehyung and Hobi hyung's wrath when they find out we watched Blackpink live without them!"

"Then we'll just have to be extra stealthy!", Jungkook tells me while smiling at me cheekily.

We're definitely getting caught.

Jungkook POV

I laugh at Jimin's obvious nervousness. After a few minutes, Jimin and I finally arrive in the building where Inkigayo was held. As we were about to go in a hand suddenly grabbed my shoulder, I look behind me and see Jin hyung with the rest of BTS.

This is bad.

"Ha! Did both of you actually think we won't catch unto your plan?"

"It was all Jungkook! I swear I'm innocent!", Jimin suddenly exclaims.

"Thanks for your loyalty hyung!", I say to Jimin sarcastically.

"Ya! We all could have sneaked out together that would have been more fun!", Taehyung tells us.

"Or we could have done this civilly by asking our manager to let us watch Blackpink live.", Suga hyung retorts.

"There, there. We're all here anyway, lets go in the show is about to start. We'll talk about Jungkook and Jimin's punishment for lying later.", Namjoon hyung says.

"But hyung! Why do we have to undergo punishment? All of us are here to watch anyway..."

"You planned to watch without us!", Hobi hyung pouts.

"Aish! Fine!"

Ahhhh, another day full of squabbling. Well, at least we get to watch Blackpink live, I smile to myself.

We decided to seat near the stage. Namjoon hyung insisted we sit there so that we'll see the performance better.

"We all went to so much trouble to watch them live, might as well get a good view at it.", he says.

After a few minutes of waiting, the room darkens signalling the start of the performance.

"They're entering the stage!", Jimin excitedly tells me.

"I can see them!"

"Woah, Their visuals are really no joke. They look even better live.", Yoongi hyung says.

We all look at him weirdly.

"Ignore him, he's just fanboying over Jennie's visuals.", Jin hyung comments.

"Ya! You're the last person I want to hear that from! Don't act like you don't fanboy over Jisoo's visuals!"

Just as Jin hyung was about to say his argument, the beat from Blackpink's new song Playing with Fire dropped. We all looked at the stage as it lit up revealing the members of Blackpink. As Jennie sang the first lines of the song, we all marvelled at how good they sounded live.

"They sound exactly the same in the studio version."

"Their voices are really stable too."

"That choreography looks really hard."

"Hey! They have a new head mic!"

"YG probably bought them that head mic so they can focus more on the dance."

"They sound really good though, despite how the hard the choreography looks like, their voices are still stable."

"That's some good quality mic right there."

As the performance kept on going, we all had our own opinions on it. Taehyung really liked the song, whereas Jimin adored the choreography.

I definitely don't regret my decision to ditch rehearsal, I thought to myself. As I continue to watch the performance, I would smile every time I would hear Lisa's voice singing or rapping the lyrics. My eyes follow her every movement, and it eventually lands on her face. As I study the contour of her face, our eyes suddenly lock on one another.

Breathtaking.

I smile at her unsurely and to my surprise, she smiles at me too.

"Hyung...."

"What is Jungkook?"

"After the show, lets go back to stage. I really want to meet her.", I ask Jin hyung.

"You didn't have to ask, we all planned to go there anyway.", Jin hyung smiles at me.

"Thanks hyung."

Just a few more minutes, I'll finally be able to talk to you.
