Hueco Mundo had been peaceful. No sound of demolishing buildings nor the piercing screams of agony. It was quite the change for Misaki.
"Daddy! Come on already, me and mom have been ready to go for an hour now" Noba spoke with a frustrating groan. Noba had been eagerly awaiting for his first visit to the Forest of Menos. It wasn't a surprise since that is where Misaki wished to go for her and Grimmjow's first date. Grimmjow shot his son a grin with a forced chuckle "I know but I have work to do first." Misaki stepped forward and took Grimmjow's hand gently within hers, giving it a gentle squeeze. "Grim, you promised him you would come. So could you please set aside your work till we return? It would mean the world to Noba, but also to me" her voice was faint with an exhale. Almost a disappointment in her tone. Grimmjow let's out a defeated sigh as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Alright, you win but later you will have to make it up to me you know?" A mischievous smirk formed upon his lips as he pulled her close by the waist. Misaki's face grew a crimson color along the cheeks as she turned her head away. "Grim! Not in front of Noba" she squeaked nervously.
Grimmjow laughed at her reaction. Teasing her by slowly moving his hand toward her inner thigh. She bite back a moan and blushed even more. Embarrassed that her son had to see her in this position. "MOM! DAD! I'M STILL HERE!" Noba screamed in a fluster. This was way more than any kid wanted to see of their parents. Grimmjow released Misaki with a sad look. "I'll have my way later Sexy" he purred within her ear. His lips brushing across her ear lobe. She hit him gently in the chest "Asshole." A smile still on her lips so he knew she was just joking with him. She never could stay mad at him. "Okay squirt, you ready to go?" Grimmjow wrapped his arm around Misaki's shoulders. "Yeah! I've been ready" Noba jumped with excitement. This just made his parents chuckle.
Just as they began gathering their things to leave for the day one of Grimmjow's Fracción walked in with a letter. "Excuse me sir, but I have a letter for your wife" he spoke with a bow. He didn't dare try to go behind Grimmjow's back. He wouldn't think twice before slicing the man open. Misaki advanced toward the Fracción with a raised brow. "For me? Where did it come from?" Her tone was filled with confusion. She hadn't had contact out of Hueco Mundo in so long. The man began to studders as he said these words in fear "T-the land of T-the l-living..." Misaki quickly snatched the letter with wide eyes, this showed off her white eyes clearly now. She ripped open the envelope and began reading the fine hand written letter. "Holy shit...it's from Kisuke. He needs me there in the Soul Society to settle a dispute between the Soul Reapers. Grim, I have to go."
"You can't honestly think I'll let you go. It's dangerous. After all these are the same people that put you through fucking hell Misaki! Why go back when they won't think twice before shoving their Zanpakutō right through you" Grimmjow crossed his arms, clenching his teeth together with worry. "Grim, I have too. It's more than just a dispute. Shirō is alive...and I don't know if it's a trap to just lead me to their grasp but I have to know...I just have too" Misaki exhaled softly as she lowered her head. Grimmjow knew she was upset about his death and she never truly accepted it either. When she first arrived she had made a alter in her room with his picture and things he had given to her upon it and when she needed to she would talk to it like people do at the graveyard. Noba hugged his mom tightly with concern "It's okay mommy, please don't cry." Misaki kneeled down and kissed his forehead and embraced him. "I won't baby, but you have to understand why I need to go." Noba nodded as he hugged her again. Grimmjow embraced them both tightly. "Fine, but we are coming with and that is my condition." Misaki knew she wasn't going to win unless she just gave in to him so she didn't fight and there they left to the Soul Society.
