They walked through the lab and found the living quarters. As Jonathan opened the door
the smell of death and vomit hit him like a wall. He pulled his shirt up over his mouth and nose.
As they walked in every single one of the soldiers was hit with a sickness. They began vomiting
blood and a strange blue liquid which looked like antifreeze.l. As soon as Jonathan checked the
soldiers he felt dizzy. There was a scream through the lab not like a human's but like the scream
of an animal, an angry animal. Jonathan ran to the soldiers to help them up. Dead, every single
one.
Jonathan turned to the wall only to glimpse what seemed to be a black shadow through
the hallway. He grabbed his KN-11, and waited. The sound again the scream. Jonathan waited
and waited. Then in the corner wear one of his men were there was movement. Jonathan ran
hoping there was the possibility that the man was still alive. He bent over the man who was
curled in a ball. His eyes were bloodshot as though he had just received an immense shock
through his body.
The man snapped to attention and shot up. His hands were around Jonathans neck in
seconds. The soldier’s teeth sunk into Jonathan's flesh. He could feel the warm blood trickling
down his neck. Jonathan lunged for his gun hoping to grab it before another attack. Jonathan
didn’t even get an inch away before he was grabbed by the ankles and yanked backwards. The
creature whatever it was, as now it was definitely not human, seemed to be much faster and
stronger than anyone jonathan had ever encountered. He kicked and punched but every time
the creature only sunk its teeth once more deeper and deeper into his skin. Jonathan was in
pain he didn’t want to die again. Pushing himself off the creature he slid across the floor. He
pushed to soft and didn’t make it to his gun. He rolled over to the body of a soldier which lie
beside him. He grabbed the knife from the sheath and as the creature attacked jonathan once
more the knife slid across the air. The knife moved so fast even the creature could not react.
Jonathan once more felt the trickle of warm blood but this time it wasn’t his.
Jonathan jumped to his feet and ran for the door; leaving his gun behind. As he sprinted
down the hallway he saw another one of those human like creatures. Jonathan increased his
speed and looked for an exit. He found the stairway from which he had climbed down to the god
forsaken place. He ran past them. He needed to stop this destructive outbreak. He needed to
find the weapon, which he deducted has caused this.
