Epilogue

Four years later
*Raven*
"Tom what on earth have you bought pregnancy test for ?" She was unpacking the commodities after he had been out shopping and was now looking confused at the package.

He stuck his head out into the kitchen, a 6-month baby on his arms pulling his hair. "I think you should take it darling.. I have a feeling. Gabriel stop pulling on daddys hair".

"But no, I can't be .. I mean after all you are sterilised". After four children, two of them twins in 4 years she had chosen to say stop and Tom had agreed to get sterilised.

He carefully removes the little boy's hand from his hair and looks almost apologetic at her. "I know, but I have an inkling that my sperm may have missed the message.. sorry but you are showing all the signs of being pregnant".

And she knows he's right, her period have not come back after she had the twins six months ago, but yes all the signs are there and she sends him a despairing glance before she takes the package and disappears into the bathroom.

She closes the door behind her and sighs deeply, seriously what if she really is pregnant again? The idea had been two children and they had them in quick succession, a boy Alexander nine months after their wedding and a girl Ella 14 months after that.

Around 8 months later, despite the fact that she had been on the pill, she had gotten symptoms and had taken a test, they had decided to keep the baby, none of them wanted it away.. they loved their kids and thought they could handle one more..it had turned out to be twins, two little boys Gabriel and Benjamin.

And they had totally agreed that it was enough, and when the pill evidently wasn't safe, well a sterilisation ought to do it right ?

She looked at the test, it should be ready after 3 minutes, but she didn't have to wait that long, as soon as the liquid reached the area two very clear lines appeared, it wasn't just positive, it was resoundingly positive.

When she came into the kitchen Tom looked curiously at her. "Was I right? What did the test say ?"

"You were right, it was resounding positive immediately, what do we do ?  We said no more." She walked over to put her arms around his neck.

He kissed her gently. "It's obviously God's will that we should have one more, so that is probably what we do right ?"

"Well God's will, your super sperm.. whatever, but of course, I couldn't bring myself to not keep it, but I think I will ask them to fix me after, because 5 children is more than enough thanks ". She said with a grin.

He let his hands slide down on her stomach and caressed it gently. "Or six, who knows maybe we are lucky that there are two this time too".

"Fuck it..do not even say that as a joke Tom, I look like a whale more than enough with one in there, the last time I was big as a house, so no thanks no more twins". She said, looking strictly at him.

He pulled her to him and kissed her warmly and very caring. "I think you are so beautiful when you're pregnant".

"Kiss ass, but you should be, now that it's your fault all of it." She said, but she was placing her hand lovingly against his cheek.

She could still look at him and wonder how this amazing man and even more amazing father was actually her husband.. she still loved him more than she thought possible and she found him even more sexy and appealing now, than when they started dating.

6 months later
*Tom*
He sat with the little bundle in his arms, rocking her gently..his little girl, only an hour old and born at home. Raven had chosen not to go to the hospital this time because all the other births had gone perfectly and this one had too.

Raven was sleeping after the exertion and he looked lovingly at her, she was as beautiful as ever and he still got butterflies in his stomach when he looked at her.. he could hardly accommodate the feeling of love that it gave him that this amazing woman had borne and birthed 5 beautiful children as proof of their love.

There was a gentle tap on the doors and Ben stuck his head inside. "Hey Tom and congratulations, I have a whole bunch out here who want to meet their little sister".

"Just let them come in and thank you for having them during the labor, I hope they have been good ?" He said, pleased that his kids were back home.

Ben opened the door. "As always.. they fortunately take after their mother, so they are always beautifully easy to handle".

"Ha ha, just wait for when you are getting your own, it can't be long before Sarah slips him out." Tom said teasingly. Ben and Sarah were expecting their first child, a little boy in a month's time.

"Hey tell me, did you just call me fat Hiddles ?" Sarah asked, laughing as she came in with a twin seated on each hip, Ben rushed over to take one.

Tom shook his head, smiling at her. "No, absolutely not, I wouldn't dare, you know pregnancy and hormones and all that".

"Where's the baby ?" Two small figures came pouring in through the door and stopped to look at the bundle in Tom's arms.

Alexander had just turned four years old but was already tall, he takes after his father.. Ella would turn three years in a few months and was very much like her mother. "She is here Alex, come and say hello to Angela, you too Ella mouse ".

Both children came over and looked curiously at their little sister and Ella whispered lowly. "Dad baby little".

"Yes darling she is small, so was you when you were born." He looked fondly at his oldest daughter, happy they had gotten one more little princess that he could pamper and protect.

"Mommy, mommy". Ben tried to hush Benjamin, but Raven immediately opened her eyes, smiling warmly and before long she had 4 children buried in her arms.

Tom looked at them smiling and rushed to wipe a tear away, he thought she was the most amazing woman and the most incredible mother and he knew she would be for the new baby too.

She would always be his best friend, but she was so much more, his wife, his beloved, his rock, his one and only, and he knew for sure that it would never change.
