Chapter 1

~~Y/N pov~~

I'm Kim Y/N, a girl who having a tough life. My dad left me out and my mom after my mom delivered me into this world. My mom and dad was get into a big fight that time and I still don't have any clue what the reason is.

For 20 years I've been living in this world, I don't know how my dad look and even his name. I have never met him before. Everytime I ask my mom for my dad's name or his look, she refused me in rage. I'm pretty sure the thought of my dad bothering her so much.

In present, my mom was in fever and I can't doing any work for this time to collected money for her medicine.

She has been sick for almost a week. I feel extremely upset cause I don't have enough money to send her to the hospital, even I can't buy a medicine for her.

But no matter what, I have to work to find more money to heal the fever of my mom.

So now, I was working at the cafe with one of my best friend, Hoseok. I was wiping the plate and glasses while Hoseok serve the costumer.

After I finishing wiping all of the item, I sit on the chair and resting. It was so tiring since there's a lot customers to serve today.

~~4 hours later~~

Eventually, the day of work has end. Me and Hoseok sit on the chair and resting.

"Argh... What a long day..." I said.

"I know, I'm really tired" Hoseok murmuring while stretching up his hand. I was about to put my head on the table when the manager approached us. We stand up and bowed to him.

"This is your salary. I giving you guys a bonus since you already working hard today" our manager said with a smile on his face.

We take the money and bowed to him. "Thanks Mr. Song" Me and Hoseok said at the same time.

"You two can go home, now" our manager said. We nodded as we picked up our stuff and walking out from the cafe.

"How was your mom? Is she fine?" Hoseok worriedly ask.

"Not really" I said as my expression dropped into sadness as the thought of my mom crossed my mind.

Hoseok clearly noticed the expression I had as he hug my shoulder.

"Ahh~ it's okay. I hope that your mom will recover from her fever and always healthy afterwards" Hoseok said, trying to cheer me up by giving me a little of encouragement word.

"Thanks Hobi~ I feel better now" I said, smiling at him.

"That's my best friend~" Hoseok said. We giggling as we keep walking and talking together till we arrived to my home.

"Bye Hobi~ take care~" I said while waving my hand to him.

"Bye~" Hoseok replied before walking away.

I step into my house when I suddenly heard a loud cough coming from my mom's bedroom. I running upstairs to see my mom coughing really hard.

I sit next to her on the bed.

"Mom, are you okay?" I worriedly ask her, caressing her back.

"I'm fine sweetie don't worry about me" my mom said while smiling at me. I just nodded my head, smiling back while hiding the pain behind it. I can't see my mom like this anymore.

~~Next day~~

"Mom! I'm leaving!" I said from downstairs.

"Okay sweetie~ Take care~" My mom said from her bedroom.

"Okay!" then I put on my shoes and walking out from my house.

I walking to the cafe and see Hoseok with another guy. I guess it's Hoseok's friend, I think so.

I approached them.

"Hey Hobi~" I greeting him with a smile.

"Hey, meet my friend, Kim Seokjin" Hoseok said while introducing his friend to me. The guy looked at me with the smile on his face.

He look really handsome. He has a good looking and tall.

"You can call me Jin for short" Jin said.

"Okay, hi Jin, by the way my name is Kim Y/N" I said as I smiling at him but he instantly frowned his eyebrows as he head my real name.

"W-what's wrong?" I curiously ask.

"N-nothing. Your name is kinda familiar to me. By the way, it's nice to meeting you" He said, awkwardly smile at me.

"Well, nice to meet you too" I said.

"Ops, there was customer here. I have to start my work now" Hoseok said.

"Okay" I said.

"So you're Hoseok's best friend?" Jin ask.

"Yeah, since primary school" I replied him.

"Hoseok already tell me everything about your life and I heard that your mom was sick, right?" Jin said.

"Yeah, I don't know what's wrong with her. It's been a week since she suffering by unstoppable fever. I don't have enough money to send her to the hospital" I said while staring down on the floor.

"Hmm~ what about to be my maid? Well, I wasn't always in my house since I had to focusing on my work. So I need someone to take care of my house" Jin said as he smiled at me. I looked at him.

'That's a great idea. I could've collect the money for my mom but if I accept that work,who is gonna take care of my mom? This is really hard'

Without my awareness, Jin was calling my name. I turning back to my sense.

"Y-yes?" I said.

"Do you agree about my decision?" Jin ask.

"I don't think so. I have to tell this to my mom first" I said.

"Okay then, I will wait for you" Jin said. Jin look at his watch and then to me.

"I have a work to do now. Take this. Call me if you already made up your mind, okay?" Jin said as he giving a card of his phone number. I smiled at him.

"Okay" I said.

"Hope we meet next time" Jin said while smiling at me.

"Me too" I said.

Jin walking out from the cafe as Hoseok looked at me, come toward me.

"What did he said?" Hoseok said.

"Well, he offered me to work as his maid after my shift at cafe. You know what, like a part time working?" I said.

"That's a good idea. You have to agree it" Hoseok said.

"I was about to but I have to tell about this to my mom first" I said.

"Okay then, let's continued work now" Hoseok said. I nodded at him.

We start to working.
