It’s been two days since the big news about Francis and Rachel’s wedding. I’ve talked to my dad and he agreed cheerily to send me to study for a couple of months.  When father made the family reunion to reveal the big news of me leaving the Millington’s mansion all face where shocked for they were surprised that I decided to go to the city all by myself after the incident. Obviously my father agreed for he didn’t want people to keep thinking that Coral the daughter of John Millington has gone crazy and has never gotten out of her house.  “She will be leaving tomorrow in the afternoon.” My father announced and I could feel Francis looking at me but I decided to ignore him.  My heart was surely a mess and was beginning me to look at him but I couldn’t it was just too painful. My father finally dismissed us and I ran to my room as quick as I could. I wanted to forget all about this house, the problems, the secrets, and the murders… love.  I quickly began to pack; I wanted to leave as soon as possible and if I was ready early I could leave early and never look back until Rachel’s wedding which I’m forced to attend. I didn’t pack much for I wanted to buy new clothes for my new life… I wanted to create a new Coral.  I decided to talk to my father to see if he could give me the money and surely make up a lie for why I wanted to buy new clothes. The most suitable lie I could invent was that I wanted people to see I was perfectly fine, that I still had young girl interest and portrayed a healthy, happy image. I rushed to my door and hurried downstairs, I entered the library and couldn’t find my father I thought he was having his lunch. I entered the dining room and for my unpleasant surprise Francis was there drinking some tea and reading the newspaper. He looked up and he smiled but I didn’t even bother to respond. I walked towards the kitchen to see if Agatha was around to ask her where my father was but Francis grabbed my hand and forced me to face him. “Don’t go alone Coral, it isn’t safe for you.” I looked at him and anger was all I could think of. “You do not have the right to tell me what to do” I said shaking his hands of mine “And it’s certainly not your problem whether I’m safe or not. Go worry about your fiancée. Now that’s your problem.” I said as I walked passed him. He grabbed me one more time “Coral please listen to me.”  I shook him off one more time and screamed “I do not want to listen anymore of your lies. You probably had this planned since the beginning… Probably you knew everything that was happened to Gabriel and in this house and you where part of I came!” Tears came out… he remained silence and looked down. “I knew it but I didn’t want to believe it.” He raised his face “You believe what you want to believe. I’m to confirming it but I’m not denying it. “He said and I turned around and left.

Later that evening I found my father and he agreed to give me some money “That’s my girl.” He smiled and I remembered when I was in Francis arms not too long ago and he told me the same thing. It was night already, tomorrow I’ll be leaving to start a whole new lie. I do not call it life for I am dead inside, no more will I aloud a man to gain so much power in me. Love does exist but for the miserable it is simply a myth a cruel myth. I didn’t get much sleep that night; I kept thinking about Francis and Rachel… did they laughed at me?  Did he make fun of me after we kissed while he told her? I forced my eyes shut and force myself to sleep.

I woke up around 8:30 am I hurried on to get a bath and get dressed. I grabbed my luggage and dragged it downstairs where I met with Emily and Dante.  “So...” Began Dante “You’re finally leaving doll, good for you” he said sarcastically. “Be careful not to be raped again” said Emily. I fixed my glare quickly to her as she and Dante laughed of this cruel joke. “Be careful not be cheated on Emily.” I winked at them and kept walking. Emily remained silence for she knew what I was talking about. Four years ago Emily had a fiancée names Peter Anderson and the day before the wedding he ran away with her best friend Velma Johnson; she was devastated.  “That serves you right” I whispered to myself.  I walked in to the dining room and saw father and didn’t bother to greet anybody but him and mother. “Father I wish to leave early so I can do the shopping today if it’s possible.” I said as I took a sip of my water. “Of course pumpkin.” My father said with a warm smile. Who would figure that such warm smile would hide terrible secrets? “Well I said as I finished my fruit salad; let’s get over with the goodbyes. My father rose “You’re quite in a hurry Coral, let us finish eating.” He said serious “Father” I said rising “I wish to leave early to do the shopping and arrive at University to unpack and of course have a head start searching for my class rooms.  I could notice that father was agreeing with me on everything and that was weird. My mother hasn’t said a word and I haven’t seen her be around the house for a long time until now. Are they trying to get rid of me? Do they suspect something or they’re just happy that I decided to leave and clear their image? “Why are you in such a rush?” Rachel asked as she was kissing Francis cheek. “No rushes really, just want to be early.” I said coldly without looking at her. “Well if you’d like I’ll drive you there myself, I have to go buy gifts.” I forgot that today was the day of the trip Francis and I planned a week ago. “No, there’s no need” I said “Father arrange my trip already. I’ll be leaving with a driver he hired for me.”  He looked at me and I couldn’t help but to do the same.  “I think is a good idea Coral, I trust more Francis that any other driver.” He said as he stood up. “Francis will take you now so you can be early. I’m sure he won’t mind since he offer to be the one who will pick you up and drive you back when you come to visit on the weekends. “My father said as he excused himself and gave me a goodbye kiss. My mother didn’t say goodbye just stood up and left behind him. “I will be going with you Francis, this way we’ll spend time together.” Rachel said clinging in to his arm. “No” said my father turning around. “You will stay here and accompany me to see your mother.” Said my father as he left. “Fine” said Rachel like a spoiled little girl stumping her feet.   She kissed him goodbye and left without looking at me. “Shall we go” he said with a victorious smile that gave me the urged to slap it off him.  He carried my luggage to his black Mercedes.  The first twenty minutes of the drive was quite until he decided to break it. “Coral… Why won’t you believe me?”  He said as he stopped the car. “Will you drive is an hour and 44 minutes to go and we’ve only been through twenty minutes and I am ecstatic to leave this car… and you.” I said as I stared straight in to the highway.  “Fine” he said as he drove really fast and I could see he was angry. We remained quiet and I ignored everything he tried to say and he could see there was no point in talking to me; correction in lying to me.  Finally we arrived to the University, I decided not go shopping for that meant spending more time with Francis and that was not my intension. When we arrived I saw tall brick buildings. Francis got out of the car to help me with my luggage but as soon as he got them out I told him I could handle it.  He grabbed my hand as I was about leave and walk towards the group of college freshmen’s who were waiting to be assign to their rooms and to have a tour.  Some fake tanned girl passed and winked and giggled at Francis but he ignored them and starred at me. “You don’t have to do this…” tears started to roll down his cheeks. “I do for I am not strong enough to deal with your marriage with Rachel. My love for you was real unlike yours and I wish you leave me alone.” I looked at my purse and pulled the envelope where the letter I wrote to Francis was sealed.  “This is for you. My final goodbye…” he pulled me and my lips and his where so closed. It brought me memories of the night we kissed.  His breathing was compatible to mine, my hands began to tremble once more and I wasn’t going to pull back for this was our goodbye kiss.  His lips tenderly touched mine and his tongue didn’t wait too long to play with mine. He carried me and gently placed me against his car without separating his lips or tongue from me. I pushed him back and whispered goodbye, he kept looking at me while I walked towards the group. “Goodbye my Coral, I will miss you so.” He said as I left. My heart chattered for I will miss him to but I knew he was just someone who lied. He wasn’t the Francis I fell in love with, the Francis I loved was a liar and the real one was in a dark plot with my family.  When I arrived to the group and greeted them politely I saw him go to his car and drive away. “Goodbye my love be safe.” I whispered in the wind.
