Whenever I look at writing prompts on Pinterest, I never really use them in my own stories. Or at least not the direct quote.
I always read them for inspiration if I'm stuck in my story or I don't feel like I'm doing very well in my stories.
These writing prompts are not from a site or from other people (but if one of my friends says they want me to put one of their writing prompts on this, I'll mention them). I made all of these up and if they remind you of something from a site or something, it's possible that they were I inspired by something else without me knowing.
I think of these writing prompts or quotes, by thinking of my stories that I'm writing and build off of those or I think of the characters I my own stories and think about stuff they might say.
My own genre of writing is generally fantasy, so quite a few of these are for stories filled with magic and myths and legends. Though, some of them may not seem like fantasy prompts, that is what I intended-but you don't need to make the stories you use these in fantasy.
Try reading my story Breaking. I'll be curious to hear what people think of the story. I'm still writing Broken but I'll try to quicken the pace if more people start reading Breaking.
Anyway, these are the writing prompts I have. Hope you like them!
