He's Coming Back

"Ben is coming here today." Lauralie said as she shook me awake. I grinned from ear to ear, and I couldn't help it, I was mega excited about seeing him again. Since his visit last month, we've been texting and calling each other a lot. He was arriving for good this evening!

"Um Henna, we have class in like two minutes."

"What!" I jumped out of bed and threw on the first thing I saw which was a flowery dress with a denim jacked, black tights and timberland boots. I didn't even bother brushing my blonde hair, I just left the curls lay naturally. We had a half day today so Lauralie, Leon and I were going to pick up Ben at the airport.

I sat threw Maths, English. Spanish, and Classical Studies but I couldn't really concentrate. I was too excited.

We stood in the airport with a sign for Blue. Leon and Li rushed off to get coffee before he arrived but they were too late and he walked out of the terminal and saw me.

"Hey there gorgeous! How are you?" He embraced me in a strong hug and I never wanted him to let go, but he did when he saw Leon coming over.

I was sitting beside him in the car going back, Leon was talking to him for the entire journey but every so often Ben would look at me and smile.

When we got out of the car, Ben announced that we were all going out for dinner tonight, and to wear something nice. Then he whispered into my ear "I wasn't talking to you, you already look absolutely beautiful in that dress." I've never been around a boy who has made me gush so much.

Lauralie put on a long silky gown for dinner, I changed into a longer dress and put black stilettos on, they were Li's and I had always loved them. We met the boys outside, Leon and Lauralie walked on ahead which gave Ben and I time to talk. "So what do you think of your room?"

"It's okay, a little smaller than I'm used to but I already feel like I've settled in."

"Aw thats great, I'm sure your going to love it here, shame your a year ahead of us."

"I know, it's such a pain. I did ask if I could repeat but my parents want me in a medical school as fast as possible."

"So you want to be a doctor?"

"Not really, but my parents aren't giving me much of a choice. What about you, are you going to come to medical school with me."

"I'm afraid not, I really want to work with autistic kids when I leave school. You know, help them learn everything easier, let them have fun."

"Thats so sweet."

"Well my mom does a similar job and I was inspired."

We walked into the restaurant and I sat down beside Ben. All night he smiled at me and put his arm around me. It was perfect.

"I'm going to bring Henna home through the park." He announced as we were leaving the restaurant. He held my hand as we walked through the park, telling each other everything. Then as we finally reached the dorm I went to walk inside, "Henna" I turned around and smiled "yes!"

"Henna are you planning on ever kissing me or will I have to force you?" I looked at him confused, suddenly his arms locked around my waist and he rested his forehead on mine. I put my arms around his neck and we both smiled. It was followed by one of those absolutely perfect kisses that you can just remember every detail of and when you think about it, you get this funny feeling in your heart.
